Guild Rules, Regulations, and Expectations
Rules & Regulations:
1. Follow Gaia TOS.
2. Be polite and respectful.
3. READ ALL ANNOUNCEMENTS AND STICKYS.
4. Check back often for new job postings, news, information, auctions, etc, and be an active member.
5. Display honor, courage, integrity, and intelligence when acting in the name of the guild.
6. Any donation you wish to make towards guild events, guild charities, etc, should be made to the official guild mule. (The guild account can only be used to purchase new sub-forums at the moment. As you can tell, we have plenty.)
7. Use the appropriate sub-forums to post in. The main forum will only be used for emergency guild news or major guild events (ie mass adventures or cross guild wars/merges/affiliations).
8. Posts may not contain subject matter that is not G-Rated. Restrictions include but are not limited to foul language, partial or full nudity, graphic violence, actual death. Any cartoon/painted/drawn death or violence must not contain blood/gore/missing limbs or head/exposed internals.
Expectations:
You are expected, as a mercenary of The Amsaig, to be active in the guild and MMO, to help your guild members - your teammates - whenever you can, to accept the missions that you can, and to exemplify the utmost dignity and respect in everything that you do on Gaia.
Consequences:
Should a member of the Amsaig fail to live up to the rules and expectations, the resulting consequences shall be as follows.
Minor Offenses:
Examples of minor offenses consist of rude behavior, minor TOS violations, extended inactivity, misuse of forums, etc.
First Offense - First offenses will result in a warning. You will only get one warning throughout your stay in the guild, so try to avoid using it up.
Second Offense - 500gg fine. Minor offenses do not merit large penalties.
Third Offense - 5000gg fine. If one continues to play with fire, one's wounds will worsen.
Fourth Offense - One unpaid mission. "Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous." -Confucius
Fifth Offense - Member Banned. The slowest to learn receives the hardest lesson.
Major Offenses:
Examples of major offenses consist of failure to appear for missions, inappropriate guild behavior, major TOS violation, failure to complete an auction or shop transaction, etc.
First Offense - 10,000gg Fine. The price of dishonor is high.
Second Ofense - Three unpaid missions. "When a man's knowledge is sufficient to attain, and his virtue is not sufficient to enable him to hold, whatever he may have gained, he will lose again." -Confucius
Third Offense - Member Banned. "When you have faults, do not fear to abandon them." -Confucius
These rules, expectations, and consequences are guild law. They will be upheld and enforced at all times within the guild.
Failure to serve any consequence or pay any fine will result in an immediate ban. Fines will be paid to the official guild mule and used towards guild events, charities, etc.
Remember: Only those who break the rules need to worry about the consequences.
