I think it would be a deathblow to democracy in Iraq if U.S. troops choose now to pull out. Within a matter of days it would be possible for insurgent terrorist factions to establish a new dictator. Some people may say that I'm not considering the feelings of the troops and their families. Well, after college, I plan on being an officer in the National Guard (hooah!) and I am not afraid to be deployed to the Middle East. Right now, we need to just buckle down and do what we have to do.

Now Shale. We went into Iraq because we are allies with Israel. And Saddam Hussein had WMDs. And he pointed the ******** things at Israel. Despite what anyone says, the WMDs were there, we had satellite pictures showing them moving them into Jordan. So we went into Iraq to protect Israel. We couldn't turn our back on Israel. Because if we did, we would regret it later. Because Israel would not forget us abandoning our ally. And the Israelis have nukes too.
(if anyone didn't know, WMD means Weapon of Mass Destruction.)

Mmm... I don't keep up with any matters like these, because I honestly don't care, have no interest in them, and it just disgusts me, so ya, not real opinion for me here, sorry!

Well, according to our history, we already screwed over the Middle East. Sure, the 'WMDs were there' and 'they were going to launch them' but i think we only made a very small change. And by small, i mean a minute change. Something like 67% of the Iraqis think that we made it worse and only like 30% actually think we did something right. Big difference. They want us out. It is their country. Not ours. If they want us out, we should get out before we make ourselves look more like an imperialistic country than we already have.

Shale in theory us being there has very little to do with what the Iraqis want. It has much more to do with the security of our country and Israel.

We can protect ourselves fine. We're always so paranoid that other countries have WMD, but if you take it into consideration...who has the most? The U.S. If we wanted, we have enough destructive weapons to take out all of Iraq. There is no point in us being over there. And suicide bombers, there aren't many of them to begin with. "Suicide" makes people realize that maybe throwing away their lives is stupid. So those that are dumb enough to do that......there is a large gap between "attacks" made by them.

For those that haven't seen Achmed the dead terrorist...watch it on Youtube....it's funny as hell and it makes sense.

I've seen Jeff Dunham's Achmed skit. It is hilarious.

And phell you didn't think about this: even if we have enough nukes to defend ourselves, what would trigger us to use them? Someone else nuking us. We nuke them back, everyone takes sides, and BAM! World War III. Complete nuclear annhilation of some countries. And if you hadn't notice, we are not trying to "take out all of Iraq". We are fighting alongside the Iraqi majority against a minority terrorist group attempting to take over the country and re-establish a dictatorship.

What many people don't realize is just what kind of danger nuclear weapons put the world in. If a diplomat of some country says the wrong thing to a diplomat of another country, millions of people could be dead within the hour. Hate to scare anyone, but I'm just speaking realisitcally. The only difference from the Cold War is that these days people around the world have pushed the thought of nuclear war to the back of their minds, reassuring themselves by saying, "It will never happen."

We did a good thing for the wrong reasons, and now we're there. The terrorists, and insurgents are low on morale. Fanaticism can only go so far. If we pull out now, that will signal open season on any westerner traveling abroad, or even at home. They will take this as a sign of weakness, despite what they and the government say. They do not see things through the same paradigms as we do, and people forget this. They live in a tribal mindset, and we have to understand this, or we are screwed.
