Hey! I know I haven't really been frequenting the guild very much recently sweatdrop another guild has been taking up my time recently (SCAS-Beta Testers).
BUT! I don't want to stop having chess games! And besides! I think I can get some of the beta testers to come over here and join in on our chessy gameness!
I'm really tempted to spam every member in this guild with pictures of chess! BLARG! Okies, so I have a fresh new group of people that might be interested and I want to invite them into the guild if they would like... the only problem being... We aren't very organized!
So I think we should set up a strict schedule for the games and the times that they should be played (at least normal games where there are lots of time for all guild members to check out the sign up sheet but still have random "Hey! I'm in towns now anyone want to play?!" kind of dealys.)
So we've agreed the at LEAST Saturday. So! I'll set up an announcement for this Saturday to have a game.
I think that the games should be set up maybe more than one at a time.... maybe just "sticky" the games that are a little ways away giving a chance for those that can't make it to the closest game a bit of scheduling time! biggrin
Okies here I go!!!

S.C.A.S. is the nickname for the official Gaia beta testers. It comes from the list of things we're allowed to tell people who ask us about beta testing, namely:
1: We are, in fact, beta testers. 2: What we're currently working on is super cool and secret. 3. We can't tell you anything else.
If you want to be a beta tester, just keep an eye out for the open applications thread in the forums. Probably the GCD. Post in that thread the infdormation they ask for, and they will get back to you.
One last thing, you'll have to be over 18. If you're not, you can't legally be bound to the non-disclosure agreement you need to sign.

[Nothing is good or bad...] Bah, I'm not old enough for SCAS.
Video games have been keeping me from Gaia. Super Smash Bros Brawl, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, to name a few. Also, I'm a little discouraged because there are certain items I've been trying to get, but find myself unable to acquire, so it results in me thinking about Gaia less. -shrug- But, I'm being drawn back to it now, so I suppose that's what matters.
Yeah, this guild is in serious decline. I hope we can manage to pull a game together. [...but thinking makes it so.]

O.o but when the whole "channer" thing happened after the release of the infinity hat everyone holed up in guilds and there were more people to talk to so yeah. sad But I'm gonna be active in this guild more and hopefully everyone will get back into the guild.
I'm going to start right now sending a reminder to everyone for the games today and tomorrow! I hope to see everyone there! If not today then tomorrow!!!

Hey guys! I've been really, really bad lately and haven't posted in here or anything. gonk I feel really bad. It's my dad's birthday so I've been busy with that, but if there's a game tomorrow I should be able to get there.
Also, I'm going to be working a bazillion hours a week soon, so I'd be so thankful if Kali and the rest of you kept this place running while I'm busy. sweatdrop I LOVE YOU GUUUYYYSSSS... *group hug*

I'm thinking I'm going to create a guild mule if there isn't one already (if there is can someone let me know ok thanks!)

I am also a bit guilty of not visiting Gaia often. To name a few: I've been stuck at where my mom works because I can't stay home alone (or else my idiot brother begins to wail like a baby about it and piss off both my mom and me), I've been caught in a pit of homework, projects, tests, and more homework (what is it with school a ten thousand pages of homework??), I have to prepare for an upcoming piano recital, and I have to finish making my cosplay to Anime Expo.
Yep...I'm kinda busy. But, hopefully, I'll be able to attend games on the weekends...but if I don't show, sorry. *sulks at her large amount of work*

But I have a little time to do a little bit of stuff. Bleck! I just started my fourth quarter in college and the teachers think that I can play with some expensive programs at home when... HA! I don't have Adobe CS3!!!! *grumbles*
