So basically, despite my love of history and fantasy and whatnot, I am a ginormous feminist and decided that since Ventro told people to come to this guild, I should rant/argue about it. So ha. Fors starters, there's this country song that I don't know the name or artist of, but it's about what this girl is going to do to a guy that cheated on her and is probably coming to try and sweet-talk her. It's rather hilarious. I think it's "What Little Girls Are Made Of" or something...
AFTERNOTE: "Gunpowder and Lead" by Miranda Lambert And the guy abused her, not cheated. Which is definitly worse.

I'm not saying that women are inferior to men. Actually, I have seen evidence on many occasions to suggest their superiority, but my pride won't let me admit that. So my opinion is that the two sexes are equal.

currently at one of my classes during school we were split up into two groups, one pro-walmart and one anti-walmart, i was placed into the anti group and came over an article stating that walmart's female employees were being treated under what they deserved, which states (by what i believe) that most of america still underestimates the abilities of women, and that men only believe that they are superior because they in most/some cases are stronger than women, because men are sometimes stronger doesn't mean they are superior it just means they are stronger than some women

This is an excellent discussion first I must state.
The way I see things, is that now adays everyone should be treated equally but they aren't. It is true this society is very sexes and they almost do is subconsciously. It is scientifically proven that woman are smarter then men, but that doesn't mean you assume all men are lower than woman. Also the same goes towards being stronger. Yes men are stronger, and larger body types, but that doesn't me that a woman is any lower. We were all made different for certain reasons because it is true opposites attract. If all were small, we never have such things like muscly men, (lol) and I think it be weird if a woman could lift equal or more than some man could. I just see that sexes happens so easily, but then again some cases it makes sense, but woman or men should never feel greater than another, they should be viewed on the same level.
Everyone has their own unique talents, strengths and weaknesses, but its the ability to see through the different parts, and be able to find the similarities.

Although I am male, I have a large amount of respect for other women. There are cases where females are superior and times where the males are superior. This is a balance that is never quite level. It rocks back and forth depending on the conditions. The upcoming election for example: a woman is running for president. It has never been this close before so the balance tilts.
(I would go more for Obama though. Sure we could use a female president, but Hilary is too mentally bi-polar...)

(No, not a Hilary fan. In fact, judging her equally (which is the point of this discussion, yay me), not seeing her as much better than anyone else in the world for pres. Except the terrorists, but that's common sense)
Kay... So the intention was not to say that women are superior to men, even if I do kind of lean that way because I can... That was off topic, sorry. But yeah, guys are physically stronger, but we had this Civil War guy come and talk to us in 8th grade and he made this girl Christina dress up in a cavalry uniform, to show us how a girl would have disguised herself and joined the army. The point being he commented that for a cavalry, girls were actually better soldiers. They're lighter and more nimble. So it balances out. I'm glad people responded anyway... Carrie Underwood: More Boys I Meet. Not much to do with girls vs. guys but a good example of how guys can be morons (sorry dudes, and I said CAN BE). Not to mention it's plain hilarious. I would advise being single if you're a girl listening to it, it's just funnier. Non-single girls and guys in general can listen too, it's so true... *laughs* And yes, more country. If I ever hear a non-country song that strikes me as good to mention, I'll let cha know.

(ahh country music it burns my ears!!!)
i have found that most of the time the females i have known have been way superior to me and my friends in many ways
1.maturity ( i admit, quite often i look back and see we(me and my friends) have been very imature^) 2.inteligence ( hey never said i was good at school i usually get low a's high b's if not that than around a low d) 3.strength ( yes there are girls in my school who can bench more than me*)
so yeah but i know there are alot of those sexist pigs at my school they im not gonna even say what they talk about when i walk by im like dude have some respect for women and they just like shoot me with tweetys
^ yes i can tell when i have been imature * skating doesn't really do anything for arms, they just kinda dangle but i can leg press a pick up truck's back wheels off the ground.

*Dusts off guild* Whew, been a long time since i posted. Oh boy!
I was once called a 'sexist pig.' The reason: A group member didn't want to do her share of the work and i threatened to leave her name off the assignment. I really don't see the correlation between sexism and making her do her work. I didn't play favorites because we all had the same amount of work; a small paragraph and a picture. Sexism is bad. Sexism, like racism and other isms, will be with us 'till the end of time in some form or another.
