Capital City: Occarista
Separated from mainland, this city remains mostly free from its inherent strife. It faces the peaceful sea every day, and every night, and normally only faces the hazard of being hit by a storm once in a while. Aside from that, this city is a mecca for merchants and market goers. Its filled to the brim with gold trinkets, old artifacts, and fish. A lot of fish.

The twins glanced at each other. They had been reluctant to leave their faithful horses, Arretez and Everest, at some stable. Upon arrival at the stable they found a pleasant surprise, however, in how well their horses would be treated. After ensuring Arretez and Everest were comfortable the two stepped into the blinding sunlight.
"My, is it always this bright?" Garreth shaded his eyes form the sun scanning up and down the street. All around him were unfamilar sights and smells.
"With luck the night shall come again," Hafina replied motioning for her twin brother to follow her down the street. They already stood out with their "odd" clothes, heavy accents, and mannerisms. Especially Garreth who automatically bowed his head to every woman who walked by and said politely: "Good journeys".

((Well, I'm going to use Himodio, since this'll be sorta deleted when the time comes sweatdrop ))
Colorful banners and signs surrounded Himodio, almost unbearable to look at because of the bright sunshine bouncing off of all of it. She really did love the Carnival, but Duty called, and her shift would start soon. Patrolling the city streets was not her idea of a good time, but the Captain would chew her hide if she missed another day of surveillance. She walked along through, trying not to look right or left, fearful of her addictive gambling life to catch up to her now. She passed under the Welcome Banner, head hung low in resignation. The laughter and music behind her was unbearable. She almost turned around, and then suddenly raised her head defiantly, surprising a clown to the left of her. "No!" Himodio called out to no one in particular. "I will go to work today! I will go to work today!" She marched with defiant resistance into the city streets, chanting feverishly as she headed for the barracks. She looked to her right, and saw a strange sight in the middle of a lucrative city; foreigners in colorful clothes. It reminded her of the clowns at the Carnival. Suddenly, the heat of the moment died out. "I will go to work today! I will go... to... ah, whatever!" she cried out, close to screaming. The Captain was pretty strict, but he would surely let her go to the Carnival, the funnest thing that ever happens in Occarista, that only comes along once a year... right? She was stuck in a miniature loop in her mind, caught between the carnival and working. Instead of deciding, she plopped down to the dusty road and put her head down, hoping someone could simply tell her which one was more worth it.
