So who's watching conference? Sadly, my internet wouldn't work so I've missed most of the first session. I caught the end of the last talk and now the choir is singing I'll go where you want me to go. So, what's the best part of conference so far?

Oh, I LOVED the first part... the Solemn Assembly. And Elder Wirthlin sitting and talking about not needing to be a piccolos. And Elder Eyerings whole awesome talk.
I am surely excited to listen or watch conference tomorrow!
Hello, I am brand new to this guild. ^^
I sort of expected an Indian or Asian guy to come into the twelve...

I loved the first half of Uchdorf's (sp?) in the priesthood session. It was about how being off by just a tiny amount can makes such a huge difference in our lives.

Isn't it funny how some way or another during conferance you get the answer to a prayer?

Very VERY often. Like reading scriptures.
I liked when Elder Packer quoted President Kimball.
"My life is like my shoes... to be worn out in service" - President Spencer W. Kimball
President Monson's comment about his wife leaving a note saying "don't let daddy touch the microwave" really made me laugh. It's amazing how you can see the change in him now that he's the prophet.

I laughed so hard at that! It's true about the difference in him, it's great! I guess that what becoming profet does to you! It makes you even more wonderful...

That's one of my favorite ones. ^^ We were also talking about the awesome-ness of President Monson's talk during priesthood

I completely agree. Uchtdorf was my favorite speaker of the day. I loved his comment during his anecdote about the angry sister-- "That's right, we Baptized her, too."
I was watching it in our Church, and everyone burst out laughing.

Sadly, I was watching, but didn't hear much of conference at all. sad My kid brothers were making a racket the whole time, and it just got worse when my friend came over to watch the second session. i think the only ones I heard were president monson and Todd christofferson
