Hey there everybody. I was invited I-don't-know-how-long ago and I thought, this place looks sorta new. So, to get this place kinda rolling along, I decided to post a topic about posting your artwork so I can directly critique them.

Although I am not a professional, I have taken art classes that could back up my standing. Also, I wont shoot you down hard if you warn me beforehand that you don't want me to hurt you too much. Although I have a life and stuff, my critiques may come later than you might prefer, but I do try to be on as much as possible.

Since I am critiquing yours, you can critique my artworks too!
Please keep it colorful and nice. Don't say "you suck!" or "stop drawing, my eyes are burning!". That's not allowed. Please give hints as to how to improve the artwork when you critique it, or give the reason behind why you love the piece.

I'll only post a few and update them once in a while, but you can critique the majority of my artworks (from the past and the present) at my dA account.

Here's some examples (labelled for easy reference when you critique)

2)User Image

I really don't care about the backgrounds at this moment... So it's no use critiquing me about that. The first pic is of 2 OC that s.a.s.s.y.c.a.k.e.s. commissioned from me several months ago. The Ritsuka Aoyagi chibi I finished just this past week. Well, it's not really finished. I plan to add more detail to the background (or change it) and experiment more with the coloring.

So if you want to critique the first artwork you see, label it 1). Or anything with the number 1. And the same goes for the second picture. I most likely will not go beyond that.

And sorry about the first couple pic for s.a.s.s.y.c.a.k.e.s. cause photobucket shrunk the original size to fit it's calibrations.

Darn them!

Ah, yes yes. I don't mind. I didn't see the subforum at all. I am so tired.. from work and school today... So I get a little delirious. (but why am I a sticky?)

Anyways... O.o; Eh?! No critiques?!

That's... preposterous!! I don't mind those little nit picky things! You gotta tell me those things! The only thing that I think so high and mighty of myself are my chibi's. But that's because chibi's are so easily drawn to deformation and can be labelled chibi. xD

its sticky bc u invited everyone to post their artwork here, not just your own.

Nit picky? umm okay, I guess the little guy in the first pic looks strange. His hands look two different sizes. (viewers right is slightly bigger then the left) and his legs look like they have no weight on them (which I understand the big guy is picking him up but they still look strangely stiff). and I know the big guy has his hair covering his right eye but it just creeps me out a bit that there is no faint tell of an eye.

Now I feel mean sweatdrop
Does it help though?

Ahh.. yes.. that hand thingie. I was hoping that people would see that the viewer's right hand would seem closer to the viewer, but I didn't seem to add in the other limbs to increase that effect. Thanks for pointing that out. I have trouble with depth and angles.

Yeah... I should have chosen a better pose for his legs. Like, more bends. Bends that leans inwards toward the big guy, since most of his weight shifted to that side.

HAHAHAHA!! Yes... Actually, the big guy's lack of an eye is create another effect that he's pissed. It's suppose to also give the viewer the pissed look. But maybe a faint view might help a little...

Ah, you shouldn't feel mean. I do that all the time. Wait.. does that mean I am mean? But I understand what you're saying, so it doesn't feel mean to me. And it does help! It just means that the effects that I have for the viewer must be reaaproached at another angle and with more help from it's surroundings.

AAAhhh.. that makes sense.
Cool. I've been sticki-fied.

This is the first time!
