Wow, it's been a while. x_x Lots of loldrama on this end, but nevermind that.

My boyfriend shoved an author on me a few months back, and I've really gotten hooked. Guy's name is Jim Butcher, and he writes one of the best fantasy series I've ever read: The Dresden Files. He also writes a series called The Codex Alera, but I haven't had time to get into it. >_>

Anyway, The Dresden Files are fantastic. Modern-day wizard in Chicago butts heads with everything from old Universal-style monsters to his own peers in the magical field. And he does it with a cocky grin the entire time. heart
