Like I said in Kokuryuu's topic, I have a weakness for dark red combtails. I know that they're pretty common, but put a pure red combtail next to some champion bred halfmoon plakat or something like that and I'd pick the combtail, no doubt.
I also said earlier that I like holy grails and bettas that are pure white. Of course, I'd never be able to AFFORD one, but that's why I dream about them. surprised

I'm mostly interested in betta that are in the blue category - maybe turquoise to cerulean? Some of the white-blue combos I've seen on Aquabid are absolutely droolworthy though.
I don't really mind what kind they are, though two of my boys (the ones in the vid) are crowntails bought from the same petco, though not at the same time. I got a superdelta female from there as well (turquoise, though when she sees one of my boys she goes absolutely berserk and then she's a light cobalt with some fine vertical stripes XD), and I think a superdelta male that I rescued from our LPS when I was coming back to my dorm after spring break. Managed to fight off a horrendous case of ich. He's blue-copper-black, though because he's still frail, he's rather pale. I'm worried about him, though I think he'll pull through.
I'd like a mustard gas one day...

I was looking at some of the fish that are for sale on the bettatalk site.
They well cared for it appeard and she breeds all kind of colors, patterns & fin types. BUT the prices start at like $60. >.<

I've looked at her bettas from time to time. Her fish, or at least the ones that she takes pictures of, are top-notch.
I actually have never been into doubletails myself, as I prefer long, slim bodies and DT bodies are notoriously stocky, but I can totally see how the tails appeal to others.

Faith's bettas on bettatalk.com are not so good. I was skeptical about her listings, so I searhed other aquatic forums online to see what people had to say about their dealings with her. Her fish are waaaay overpriced for what they are. You're better off going for the swoon-worthy bettas over on aquabid.com. They're so much more beautiful and cheaper than the ones Faith claims to have. You can even get one shipped from Thailand and overnighted to you for half of what Faith charges.
Sorry, had to let that out. I did not have a good experience with her. Take your money elsewhere! ^_^

I thought her prices were outrageous. I'd never buy from her, if only for that. Some of them are still pretty though razz

I was actually drooling over the mustard gas and orchid patterned bettas on Aquabid a week ago. Then I went to Petco last Saturday, and found that they had 3 month olds of both kinds - a MG delta and orchid Halfmoon.
I bought the MG (deltas are cheaper), but that one died the morning after I brought him home... so I went and exchanged him for the HM. The kid's now swimming happily in his twice-washed and newly-furnished 5g tank ;]
Thus, the moral of the story: Dream bettas do come true. Even in Petco. 8D
