Anywhooo... I'm Katri (yes, ignore the 'h' in the username. Katri was already taken. emo ). I really suck at introductions (as you can probably already tell), so I really don't know what to put here. sweatdrop I guess I'll just spit out random facts, then? ^__^; Alright then, here we go...

I'm obviously an avid writer. If I wasn't why would I have joined this guild? xd
I tend to abuse myself with things like "*shot*" or "*slapped*" so... yeah. *SHOT* (See what I mean? gonk )
I can speak French, Spanish, and English fluently.
I also like drawing, reading, and playing guitar.
I am obsessed with World War II history, but mostly the European Theatre. My novel's set in that time period sooo... hopefully I won't manage to offend anyone. sweatdrop
My favourite genres of music are adult alternative, contemporary country, and rock, though I do sometimes listen to classical, New Age, and synthpop music.
I'm trying (unsuccessfully gonk ) to learn German.
I tend to overuse smilies.
I prefer realistic endings to happy endings.

I currently have "Modern World" by Wolf Parade stuck in my head.
I'm a geek when it comes to Weird USA and the Wehrmacht-Heer... and probably lots of other stuffs that I can't remember right now. xd

Well, I'm currently working on only one story. It's called Aus der Traum (German for "The dream is over"), and it's set during the last days of the Third Reich in World War II. The main character is actually a German officer, and it basically follows him around for most of the novel. Some characters you might hear about are:
- Niklaus Tratchenberg (M.C. A Wehrmacht-Heer (or German regular army) officer.)
Kristian Austerlitz (a Waffen-SS officer. One of Nik's comrades)
Albreich Schneider (SS-wannabe. He's basically one of the stereotypical monstrous Nazis, if you will.)
Jacklynn Roberts (American nurse. The only one that comes to trust and take care of Nik when he's captured.)
Ralph Colchester (Allied Captain.)
