Just found this on Cloverfield Clues blog.
"Brad Bird, the two-time Academy Award-winning director of The Incredibles and Ratatouille, will direct the next Cloverfield movie as an animated feature. Bird, seen on the left sporting a Slusho! shirt, will begin working on the sequel as soon as production wraps on his current project - 1906 - in the hopes that the film can be released on 1/16/09 (the next MLK weekend)."
