Any suggestions for games? Mine didn't come with any...

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Well if you are into Final Fantasy games Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy Tatacs are both good games.

Tactics is only for the PSP, unless I learn to speak Japanese really fast... Then I can get the DS version...
Final Fantasy 3 looks cool, I'll 'aquire' it and let you know...

So, I hear they have linux ported to the DS. uclinux or something, based off the 2.0 kernel? I dunno too much about all that.

Believe it or not, I couldn't care about my DS running linux. It does what I want it to. It has a web browser, an IRC client, and will use my existing WiFi AP to do that be it at work or at home. I can access my email, and I can download games off the internet and play them. I know it doesn't run windows.
I'm happy with the way it is biggrin

Yea, been playing Mario 64, loving it...
And Mario Kart 64 too, the multiplayer of that with my friends at work is schweeeeeeet!
Diddy Kong just didn't have the same appeal as Mario Kart did... But thanks for the suggestion...
I just snagged 2,150 DS games from my... favorite place... and will be trying them out one at a time... I've already found 3 games I *really* like but ******** a duck they're all in Japanese sad And I doubt I'll be seeing either of them any time soon ported to English...

No a couple of my friends had tactics for the DS and it was in English. I know they made a handful of Final Fantasy games for portable systems with the name "tactics"

Yea, I'm currently knee-deep in FFIII for the DS, and already have Crystal Chronicals: Ring of Fates as well as Revenant Wings, too... I love Final Fantasy games...
No, the 3 I am referring to are Neon Genesis Evangelion, the new Shippuuden game, and Kiriran Revolution...
The Neon Genesis one I doubt will *ever* see a US release, the Kiriran Revolution one I *know* will never see a US release, and the Shippuuden one *probably* won't, depending on a number of things. It's possible if the DS is still around and viable when Shippuuden comes to debut in the US. If that isn't too long from now, it may be, or it may be shelved for another Shippuuden themed game that's brand new to all markets...
So either I learn Japanese or I give up 2/3rds of my hope fully, and shelve my remaining 1/3rd for a couple YEARS sad

DS does wireless multiplayer too, which I'm so VERY impressed with...
Up to 8 people playing Mario Kart 64, w00t... Had a blast with that s**t at work last night...

I still stand by my opinion of Supermario 64, and Diddy Kong Racing being the 2 best Nintendo 64 games to date. Why yes, i prefer it over Mario Kart 64 any day. I actually own all three for the original platform, my prized N64. There are a few others i remembered liking as a kid, but may not be as appealing now.
Oh, and if i had the DS with wireless capabilities, i would totally get back into pokemon.

I got my DS year or so ago and I had 5 games biggrin (Mario Cart (DS) Super mario 64,King Kong (Don't Ask), Bomber Man (Oh Yeah And JMAD (As in jmad980) is pronounced j mad (if you try to read it strait it sounds like I'm a terrorist), and the rest I don't Remember (I Lost All But mario cart Damn smallness of games) evil
