the 2-disc version. i have the 1st dvd in a dvd player and the 2nd one in my ps2 and i just switch the tv-cords when i want to watch the different discs lol xd

i love the press conference too it's like "our blood is a mixture of some sort that is sticky and sweet... and gets stuck in your underwear...." lol rofl

I love how an American journalist said Johnny and Tim had been working together for 10 decades. rofl

My favorite part thought was...
Helena: I didn't want to feel like I got the part because I slept with him. But in the end Stephen Sondheim had the final say and I definately didn't sleep with him.
Tim: Thats not what he said.
Helena: He wasn't willing to say.
Johnny: I haven't slept with anyone.
Helena: Ever.
Johnny: Not once. I've shaved a few though.

Gah when he said that he had the most innocent look on his face. It was hilarious.

Its better to buy it. Hahahaha.
That way you can watch it whenever you want without worrying if your friend is going to take it back. XD

It doesn't surprise me...as wild of a teenager as he was.

No. crying
No deleted scenes.
But the movie isn't suppose to be exactly like the Broadway musical.
So no, they didn't do the songs that they cut.
Annddd....here are some reasons why:

"'I think the most important thing that Tim is bringing to this world beyond his aesthetic sensibility is his entertainment sensibility,' says Logan. 'This is not a recording of a Broadway show, this is not a flat presentation of a piece of theater that people have loved for twenty years, this is a movie. This is our Sweeney Todd. Tim has been hyper-conscious of anything that smacks of too emotive, too presentation, too "cute" in terms of the actors over performing or playing to the back balcony. Tim has been wonderful about keeping it real, keeping it honest, and making sure these are real people going through this terribly difficult story and not shying away from the really harrowing emotions. As a theater fan and a movie fan I think he's doing the perfect thing, saying 'We respect the stage play, we love the stage play, but this has to be first and foremost a work of cinema.'"

"Even though the music is right out of the show, it's been desaturated of the usual Broadway gloss," says Richard Zanuck. "And even though you'll hear bigger orchestrations, when Tim's through with them, those orchestrations will be even more in keeping with people singing to one another in a room. The tone is the same, the emotions are the same, but it's not actors breaking into song. There's more music in this than there is dialogue, but it's not the kind of music that you normally hear."

"On Broadway you're sitting in an audience and a song ends with a ta-da, cue for applause. You don't want to do that in a movie," explains Burton.

Yay for having the Sweeney Todd book that has the making of the movie, interviews, and parts of the script. XD
