The scent of flowers and fresh air quickly overcame the young woman as she made her way out of her apartment and down towards the gate labled 'The Heights'. The morning sun was bright and vibrant, radiating off her milky skin. A thought of not having applied sunscreen crossed her but was suddenly thrown out by the thought of what lay before her in life.
Unsure if anyone could ever truly accept her, Devvea quickly shook her head. "No...no, I must have faith in this place. It won't turn out like last time." She said running her hand along her back. She could still feel the pain of her most precious element of her body being ripped from her. A cool shudder brought Devvea back from her horrible daydream. She had finally reached the gate of the apartment complex.
Slowly she stepped through the large gate of the complex and stared out at the town that lay before her. After a few moments of wandering up and down the streets searching for nothing, Devvea came to a stop before a small buidling with a few tables harboring umbrellas in the front. "Hmm.." She said approaching it. The sign above the door reading 'CAFE' Devvea smiled and nodded as she heading inward to partake in a relaxing drink.
No sooner had she sat down at one of the quaint umbrella tables she was approached by a tall blonde haired maided.
-"Hello! Could I get you something?"- The blonde said innocently.
Devvea's eyes trailed up the girl to her sweet face. "Hmm, yes. Kona, two cream." She said softly.
The young blond nodded and took off towards the building.
Devvea sat alone waiting on her coffee to be delivered once again her mind trailing off to those nights in which she wished she could forget.

The beautiful sights of the flourushing trees and many bustling happy people seemed to just fade before her as she dazed into a memory.
It was suddenly cold, very cold. The white flakes of snow fell so gently down from the heavens landing in her dark brown hair. A large smile across her face as her father turned toward her, "My baby girl." He said kindly taking her hand in his and nodding. Devvea smiled even larger and glanced up at the large church before them. "It's Time..." Another voice said from the church doorway. Devvea turned to her father. "I am ready Papa." She said as the aging man lead his young vibrant bella towards the church doors, her long white wedding dress trailing along.
His light green eyes caught her dark ones as she stepped one toe over the threshold, accompanied by her father. He knew knew she was the one, standing before him, dressed in the purest of white linens, her lips the color of rose petals, forming a thin smile. She was radiant, wonderful and to him, the most beautiful woman in the world.
She saw him, staring so deeply at her. She knew he was the only man she'd ever love. Now more true than she had imagined at the time. Before she could take another step, a shrill voice emitted from outside the holy shrine. The many guests took their eyes off the beautiful bride and saw the horror which had been unleashed behind her. Devvea's eyes widened as she saw the small village engulfed in flames. "Here you go ma'am." A female voice called out from somewhere else.
"Huh? What?" Devvea said shaking her head a little and comming back to the here and now, her eyes quickly falling upon the sweet waitress who had just sat a small mug of coffee before her. "Oh, thank you very much." Devvea said smiling at the woman and then looking down at her drink. It had been a long time since she had dazed out and remembered things so vividly. Perhaps it was this new place that made her miss home so much. She hadn't really met any of the other tennents yet and still felt completly alone here.
Quietly she sat under the umbrella table drinking her tea, watching the people around her.

The club was titled "Eclipse" and most of the year was a trendy place to go dancing and listen to live music, get drunk and flirt with the sex of preference. Around October though, they prepared for their yearly Halloween Bash. This year, like every other, the club was decorated from front entrance to alleyway. It was a festive, rather than scary, atmosphere. There were plenty of other places to take your date to scare them. This was for having fun.
((Anyone should feel free to join into this party, that's what it's for. It will run until at least the end of October, and depending on what's giong on is welcome to continue.))

Terry walked along the sidewalk with Kanako, arms linked with each other, with big smiles on their faces. The laughed at most of the looks and stares until she heard a shrill whistle. She looked over and saw her dear friend sitting at an outdoor cafe.
"Well, well well.. if it isn't Terry Samuel. Long time, no see." The small raven-haired woman got up and gave the taller woman a hug. She let go and looked at Kanako. "And by the looks of it, you snagged yourself a girlfriend. Good for you!" She smiled and held out a hand. "The name is Bernie Ji but you can call me BJ."(( Bernie))

Kanako took BJ's hand and kissed her politly on the cheek. "Its good to meet you. My name is Kanako." Kanako walked back to Terry and kissed her full on the lips. "And you were right about her finding a girlfriend."

BJ sighed at their expression of romance. "That's not fair! Two months out of jail and you have someone to love-" She stopped in mid-sentence as Terry glared down at the smaller woman and growled. "Ex-nay on the al-jaiy." Terry held out a chair for Kanako.

Kanako laughed and sat down in the chair. "What ever happened in your past is none of by business, unless you wish to share it with me." Kanako held Terry's hand. "I wont pry into your past."

BJ smirked and stared through her glasses. "See, she doesn't care if your an ex-con. Kanako still loves you." Terry returned her grin and sat down as her stomach started to growl. "Weh...I'm hungry..."

"It will take a lot more than that for me to stop loving you." Kanako said waving the waiter. "You will have to tell me more about you over the meal BJ. And you too Terry."

Terry blushed a bit and Bernie laughed at her expression. "Alright then. But who goes first." The two old friends looked at each other and murmured. "Tell you what," Terry said with a grin on her face, "We'll flip a coin. Tails I win and heads you win." SHe took a coin out and tossed ot on the air
"Seems fair enough." BJ nodded and watched the coin land just as the waiter arrived. "Tails!" Terry did a little dance in her seat, keeping the secret of the coin to herself. "I'll have chicken alfredo salad."
"Make that two."

"Since I lost, I'll go first," BJ took off her glasses and rubbed them. "Well, I met your girlfreind about a year and a half ago wnet I was sent to prison for some bank robbery that 'I' commited. But I knew that wasn' mean and even proved it. Sadly I was guilty in the eyes of the judge and sentenced to 5 years."
She put them on and looked at the couple.
"I met Terry when she saved me some psycho lady who was literally trying the gut my eyes out." She put and elbow on the table and laughed. "I still can't believe you slammed her through the table.
"Hey, I can't people beating up on my friends!"
"Yeah, after that little incident, we became great friends until she was let out. We kept in contact and now we're here again."

"Well its good to know that Terry is so dependable. If a crazy lady tries to gut my eyes out ill know who to call." Kanako let go a small laugh. "I cant believe that you were wrongly accused of bank robbery." Kanako shuddered. "Were you caught in the wrong place at the wrong time?"

"Sad to say but yes..." BJ took up the fork next to her and twirled it around. Some sunlight peeked through the clouds and bathed them in the warm glow. She sighed and rester her head in her hands. "Looks like the robber looked just like me because according to witnesses, I had left with the bag and then come back in. But I'm over that, they found the real criminal and I'm free." The waiter came baxk with three steaming bowls and placed them in front off the women.
"Thank you," replied Terry as she picked up her fork and started to pick at it. "Think it's edible?"
