There is a glass door through which one could see if the blinds on the inside allowed it. In black, plain letters the words "Welcome to the Heights" are written in one line. The line below held the word "Office" in a bolder manner.
Inside there is a plant in ever corner of the room and a bench against the wall beneath the wide, bright window next to the door. Across from the door, facing it directly, is a white counter with nothing but a phone and a simple computer on it.
Through the window is a view of the driveway of the Apartments. Alex can see who comes and goes and the same view is available from her apartment: 127.

Kimberly got out of her car and glanced at the building where she will spend most of her life. Our own house! We can paint it any colour! We can do what we want. She wrapped her arms around her, trying to forget what brought her here. She rubbed her face quickly, trying to dry the tears that just appeared. She gave a weak laugh, "On my own again. This will be.. great. No sharing... all.. mines." she says weakly, staying besides her car, barely moving.
She slide her hands into her pockets, taking out her keys. She opened the trunk of her car pulling out a box. I'm sorry.. we can work things out. Please don't leave me honey. Kimberly stood there, the box slipping from her hands. The box slowly fell and hit the floor, a loud crash snapping her back to reality. She glanced down at the box and shook her head again. She yet again wiped tears from her face and picked up the shattered box, placing it on the curb.
She grabbed another box and set it down, continuing taking the boxes out her car. She stopped seeing an open box. She reached into the box and pulled out a frame. It was her and Cameron. Her arm was around her waist and Cameron was kissing her cheek. A slow smile crept onto her lips as she looked at the picture.
Kimberly stared at the pictured hard. Her face started turning a shade of red as she glared at the picture. Angrily she through the frame with the picture as far as she could. She panted softly and saw the box out of the corner of her eye, she opened the box and saw the items where broken, "Crap.." she puts the box back into the car. She shuts the trunk and heads up towards the building. She sees a woman behind a counter, she stays back, waiting to see if she would have to walk up, or if she would call on Kimberly.

Chiisuchi blew a few loose strands of chocolate hair from her face. Apparently, they had come loose from the low ponytail held in a red scrunchy at the back of her head, and were now dancing in front of her cinnamon eyes. Irritated, she lifted a hand to tuck the thin strands of hair behind an ear, but they almost immediately came loose again, dangling before her face.
The young woman dragged a heavy leather bag across the parking lot, her thin white T-Shirt dancing on the slight breeze that pushed against her, showing just how small and thin she really was.
The large sneakers seemed to wide for her feet, and appeared to slip off the girl''s feet at every step.
Chiisuchi moaned inwardly as she saw no one outside the complex. She''d been hoping there would be another new resident willing to go inside with her, for Chiisuchi was fairly shy, but willing to meet new people.
Nevertheless, the Asian girl dragged, with difficulty, her trunk up the steps, and sighing with relief as she pushed the front door open.

She hears someone outside the door. She glances around and opens it, seeing a girl struggling with her trunk. She looks around and bites her lip lightly. She adjust her sunglasses over her blue eyes, diding as much of her face as possible, and walks over.
"Do you need any help?"

Chiisuchi looked up and smiled gratefuly. "Oh, yes please!" She exclaimed, pushing a few loose strand of chestnut hair from her eyes which were sparkling. She sat the trunk upright, panting slightly, and looked towards the girl. "Chiisuchi Yamato," She held out her hand and leaned against the trunk as her breathing quietited.
'Is she new?' Chiisuchi thought as she eyed the girl, who didn't apear to have any luggage with her.

"Um, 212, I think." She answered uncertainly with a quick glance at the door. "I'll need my keys first though," She admitted, looking slightly embarrassed. With a quick, unconscious tug at her chestnut ponytail, she turned and read the sign on the Office door. "I assume I get my keys from the office?" She said with a weak smile.
"I'd love the help though.." She admitted, nodding, a flame dancing in her chocolate eyes. She turned to open the Office door, and hesitated for a moment with her hand on the handle, before turning it, and gently pushing the door open, and poking her head through the door.
"Excuse me, is this where I get my keys?" She asked timidly, coming further into the room as she saw the white desk, the computer, and the young girl who couldn't have been older than her sitting in her chair, looking extremely bored.

She walks behind the girl, barely hearing her voice, "I'll stay back and watch your trunk. Never know if someone will steal anything." she gave the girl a smile and walks back over to the trunk, while adjusting her shirt, and jeans.

Alex walked up, smiling and humming. She short, dyed red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. She was about five foot, and didn't have shoes on. She was wearing a white shirt that showed off her cleavage, and black jeans that were sagging, so you could see her waistline, and that she had black underwear on. "So, this is the place, huh? It looks like I'll be having fun, here!" She laughed and walked towards the office door, a backpack slung across her back.

"I wonder what room I'll be in. I hope it's not a messed up old room, like my last one..." She looked around for some clue as to where she could find out her room number.

A bright yellow taxi came to a stop in front of a large majestic building, the driver spat onto the ground as if he owned the joint. The dark brown eyes of his female passenger looked away quickly. "Thank you sir..." She said gently as her hand grasped the door handle and she exited the backseat. Her black clog shoes touched the paved ground as she stood up and sheilded her eyes from the sun glaring off the white building before her. "So...this is home."
Turning back quickly she noticed the driver stick his bushy head out the window. "So, errr....you gonna pay 'er wut?" The driver said in a horrid accent. The young woman nodded and reached into the back of her dark blue jean pocket and pulled a fresh crisp $20 bill from within. "Here you are..." She said kindly as she dangled the money in front of his face. The man quickly snatched the currency from her hand and grunted a little. "Git yer stuff."
Taking a deep breath the woman nodded and reached into the back seat of the smelly Taxi Cab, pulling two suitcases from the seat. "Got 'em all?" The driver called again as the lady closed the back drivers side door. "Yes, Thank you and have a nice day!" She said politly as he took off.
The lady shook her head a little. "How rude." Her eyes gazed the building before her. "Hmm...." Slowly she sat down her suitcases, a large black one with white beading around the edges and a small light blue one with the initials D.S. across the top. "Apartment.....220." She said reading a small piece of paper aloud. She had bought an apartment at the complex a few days before and recieved her apartment number over the phone by a kind woman whose name she couldn't seem to grasp at the moment.
Her eyes quickly fell upon a glass door with the words office printed upon them. "Hmm, office..well...that is conveniant." She said giggling a little to herslef. The woman straightened her long sleeved light blue sweater and reached down liftign her suitcases. "This shouldn't be too bad...after all, no one knows me here." Her voice was low and slightly nervious sounding as she said her last words before reaching forward and opening the glass door leading into the office.

Alex relaxed at hearing the explanation from Net. Net isn't used to having people care about her, Alex wasn't used to caring about people. She had hoped that this Apartment would bring about the atmosphere of a home. A family; the kind she never had.
Before Alex could say more to Net, a girl popped into the office, asking about keys. Alex gave an easy smile and nodded. "It sure is," she said, her bright smile complimented by her white outfit. "Come on in."
As she implored the girl to enter, another one came in right after. "Ah," Alex said. Her smiled depicted a pleased emotion tinged with excitement, "we have two coming in for keys today."
The keys were mailed to some of the residents, but the others, who did not allow enough time, had to check in the office to get their keys. As Alex, by chance alone, looked through the window, she was surprised to see yet another new woman. With her hand she gestured for her to enter. Turning toward the counter, she proceeded to hop over it, using her right hand to support her weight on the countertop. After she landed, each time for gracefully than the last, she opened the drawers and placed all the vacant apartments' keys on the white countertop. "Please take your key. This way is just more efficient." She smiled at the three new residents. Yup, she thought, this place is going to be and interesting place to be.
[sorry for the delay, ladies. kinda have a lot on my plate lately heart sorry for the suckiness of that, as well. still have a lot on my plate.. ] stressed

After a good hour of driving, Victoria pulled up in to the parking lot of the aparment building. She had gave up when feeling herself freezing and she could barely feel her toes. The heater in her car didn't work..
She climbed out of the car and headed towards the front doors, the heated weather warming her up a little and was glad it was hot outside then cold. She made her way inside and straight towards Alex's office, moving around the girls that were inside or forming around it.
"Alex..", she said through chattering teeth, happy to atleast see the apartment manager and new friend. Her arms were crossed over her stomache, hands grasping the other arm as she shivered in her place.
