Okay, the time for prom is coming up for many of us (at least those of us in high school) and if you're like me, you're pretty excited...
So...

Prom itself
Your outfit
Your date or lack thereof

Whether or not we should have a GCD Gift Giving Bonanza Guild Prom event for gifting and dressing up in formalwear

Oooh, yes. I saw this GORGEOUS dress that I would love so much, but I'm going to wait for it to go on sale. Dress prices are ridiculous. It's blue and white...well, I'll just post a picture of it when I get one. I think I'm going to go alone, though. There's one guy who's probably going to ask me (and one who I think might be working up his courage to ask), but I don't want to send the wrong message. I don't really want a boyfriend right now...especially from my pool of friends. Don't get me wrong; they're great guys, but dating them would be weird beyond belief.
I would love to do a gifting event, but I don't know if the people who aren't going to proms would like it as much...

I never got to go to prom =(
But! I hope everyone who goes has tons and tons of fun. I had a dress, it was a dark blue halter and it was so pretty!! =)

We don't have prom here. ;__; Though we did have a similar sort of event at the end of our final school year, and an afterparty. I went to the afterparty for the year above me as well. We didn't have dates or anything but we did dress up. It wasn't all that great, though. :/
A couple of friends and I are having a party in June to celebrate turning 21 this year, though it's still in the early stages of planning. It's much less low key but probably the closest thing I'll get to a prom in the near future. :3 I'm looking forward to that, I'm going to save up and go shopping for a dress.

Hey, why do't we have a guild prom? We can dress up our avatars all pretty and post pictures of ourselves all dressed up in real life! And do a gift-giving thing! What do you think?

Granted, my avatar already looks a bit like it's going to prom, but if we make an event for it in the guild, I might even try to simulate my real prom outfit here on Gaia.
