An itricate vampiric society. Paradise. Where young and old vampires live together. But ranks in society hinder some that arae wishing to rise to the surface. The Nosferatu or vampyres, oldest and most stunning of the vampires. Strong, beautiful, powerful, wealthy. The Damphirs, lowest of the vampires. But strong and stunning as well. Half-human half-vampire. They are the bodygaurds and protectors of the Nosferatu and other vampires. Of couse other vampiric races are bodygaurds and protectors for higher ranked classes above them. They protect them from the Lupines. Werewolves and vampires that don't like others. That were shunned from the vampiric socitey.

Methusela: An incredibly ancient vampire who has lived for more than a 1000 years; usually with unbelievably power.

Types of vampires
Anarc: A young vampire who is not happy with the current vampire society.
Baali: A minor bloodline of demon-worshiping vampires. Despised by the Camarilla and the Sabbat alike.
Blooded Vampire: A vampire,which has fed on human blood,gave them limited immortality and some enhanced physical and magical powers. They may not create new vampires
Caitiff: A vampire, who was looked down upon in the society, has not been raised with a clan.
Childe: A young, inexperienced vampire, often under the control of his or her sire. Plural: childer
Fledgling: An immature, foolish vampire.
Novice Vampire: A vampire that retains some humanity, and has not yet fed from a human.
Prince: The vampire (male or female) who has legal control of a city. Not necessarily the most powerful vampire of the city.
Vamprie Clans
Clan: The bloodline that a vampire belongs to. Each clan has a special weakness, special disciplines, and a semi-mythical founder.
Camarilla: A sect of seven clans; Bruja, Gangrel, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere and Ventrue. They promote quiet co-existence with mortals, and maintain the Masquerade.
Cappadocian: A virtually extinct clan of vampires. They were hunted down and subsumed into Clan Giovanni.
Followers of Set: A clan of vampires whose ultimate goal is the corruption of all humans and vampires.
Gangrel: Beast like clan of vampires, belonging to the Camarilla.
Giovanni: A clan of vampires who practice the manipulation of wraiths.
Inconnu: A group of extraordinarily powerful vampires who side neither with the Sabbat nor the Camarilla.
Lasombra: A Sabbat clan of power-brokering vampires. Preferring to work from the shadows, their powers emphasize the manipulation of darkness.
Malkavians: A clan of insane vampires. Part of the Camarilla.
Nosferatu: A hideously ugly clan of vampires. (In this RP the Nosferatu are not hideous)
Ravnos: A clan of thieving vampire rabble.
Sabbat: A demon-worshiping sect of vampires included primarily of the Lasombra and Tzimisce clans.
Salubri: An extinct clan of vampire mystics and healers. They were exterminated by the Tremere.
Toreador: A clan or vampire artists and art critics.
Tremere: A tightly-knit clan of vampires who practice blood magic.
Tzimisce: A repulsive clan of Carpathian vampires who are able to deform their bodies in many ways.
Ventrue: A clan of arrogant, pure-blooded vampires.
Asasabonsam: African vampires with hooks instead of feet. They tend to bite their victims on the thumb.
Baital: Indian race of vampires, half man, half bat, standing roughly one and a half meter tall.
Rakshasa: A powerful Indian vampire and magician. They usually appear as humans with animal features or as animals with human features. The animal side is very often a tiger. They eat the victim's flesh in addition to drinking their blood. Rakshasas may be destroyed by burning, sunlight or exorcism.
Strigoiul Romanian vampire, much like the original vampires, but they like to attack in flocks. They can be killed by putting garlic into its mouth or removing its heart.
Succubus A less known European race of vampires. The general way they feed is by having sexual relations with the victim, exhausting them and then feeding on the energy released during sex. They may enter homes uninvited and can take on the appearance of other persons. They will often visit the same victim more than once. The victim of a Succubus will experience the visits as dreams. The male version of a Succubus is an Incubus.
Vlokoslak: Serbian vampires are also called Mulos. They normally appear as people wearing white clothes. They are active both day and night and can assume the shape of horses and sheep. They eat their victims as well as drinking their blood. They can be killed by cutting off their toes, or by driving a nail through the neck.
Upierczi Polish and Russian vampires and, called also Viesczy. They have a sting under the tongue instead of the fangs. They are active from noon to midnight and can only be destroyed by burning. When burned, the body will burst, giving rise to hundreds of small, disgusting animals. If any of these creatures escape then the Upierczi's spirit will escape too and will return to seek revenge.
Crete vampire Kathakano: Much like the originals, but it can only be killed by chopping its head off and boiling it in vinegar.
Krvopijac: Bulgarian vampires also known as Obours. They have only one nostril and a pointed tongue. A Krvopijac can be immobilized by placing roses around their graves. It can be destroyed by letting a magician order it into a bottle and throwing it into a bonfire.
Lamias: Known in ancient Rome and Greece. They were exclusively female vampires, which often appeared half human, half animal (most often a snake and always the lower part) form. They ate the flesh of their victims as well as drinking the blood. Lamias could be attacked and killed with normal weapons.
Terms
Becoming: The process of turning from human to a vampire. Usually, it involves draining a human of blood to the point of death, and then giving the human some of the vampire's blood to drink. In the World of Darkness, feeding vampire blood to a human without first draining them will create a ghoul.
Blood Bond: When a human or a vampire drinks another vampire's blood for 3 times, then the vampire whose blood was taken has a certain power over the recipient. The recipient will do whatever donor says, whether they want to or not, even to the point of endangering their own life.
Dark Kiss: The act of converting a human into a vampire.
Dark Trick: Another name for the Dark Kiss.
Diablerie: Vampiric cannibalism. In destroying another vampire simply drain his blood completely. The cannibal thus gains some of the murdered vampire's power.
Embrace: The act of converting a mortal into a vampire.
Father in Darkness: The individual who embraced a vampire. See also Sire.
Generation: A measure of a vampire's strength. The higher a vampire's generation, the further removed they are from Caine, and the more diluted their blood is, so they can achieve less in magical power and vampire society.
Kindred: The term vampires use to referring themselves.
Kiss: The act of taking blood from a mortal.
Masquerade: The party that people disguised themselves as vampires, ghosts or monsters.
Mother in Darkness: A female who has helped a new vampire in his or her transformation into a vampire.
Noble: A powerful, nearly immortal creature of evil that has a much greater range of free will than does a blooded vampire, and is able to create new vampires.
Ravenloft: A demi-plane that invites and then traps supremely evil creatures. A haven for the undead, many of the Lords of Ravenloft are vampires and other dark, powerful creatures.
Sire: The individual who has converted a mortal to a vampire. Often a form of address.
Vicissitude: The Tzimisce clan's discipline that allows the practitioner to change their body in often grotesque ways.
Bruja is the spanish name for a witch, it was very similar to the Italian Strega and the Bruxa from the neighboring Portugal. It's a living woman able to transform herself into various kinds of animals and attack children.
Nosferatu: Another name for the original vampire, which is also called Vampyre.
Creatures
Changeling: Another group of supernatural creatures that share the World of Darkness with the vampires. Changelings are half-fey creatures that replace human children who are taken to Faerie.
Ghoul: A hateful, corpse-eating spirit. In the World of Darkness, a ghoul is a living human who has drunk the blood of a vampire, thus no longer aging.
Lupine: A werewolf, one of several magical races that live alongside vampires and mortals. The Lupines as a rule hate vampires and destroy them at every opportunity.
Werewolves: Humans able to change their form into wolves.
Wraith: The spiritual essence of dead individuals.
The Baobhan Sith (buh-van she): An evil scottish fairie who appear as a beatiful young woman and will dance with men they find, 'til the men are exhausted; they then feed upon them. It can be killed by cold iron.
Ekiminus: Assyiran malignant spirits (half ghost, half vampire) caused by no proper burial. They are naturally invisible and are capable of possessing humans. They can be destroyed by using wooden weapons or by exorcism.
