Overall it was a great show and quite enjoyable, the whole cat and mouse thing was amazing. But I do believe the show is a little overrated. And L is way overrated. Why are so many people so hot for L, he's not that great.

Mello and Near just piss me off, more so then L and I wish they would both die. Now Light is the most awesome character ever, he is so composed even under some of the heaviest of strains in situations and works everything out perfectly. I'm not going to lie I am for Light all the way haha, kill all the evil people in this world, purge it!

As for having a lot of various types of violence, there really isn't that much violence, most of it was thriller edge of your seat drama.

I'm not a fan of how the entire seires played out, especially part of the middle and the ending. But like I said, overall it was great and really did enjoy it. Some of my favorites parts were early on when Light was getting especially brave with Ray Penbar and his fiance. And in the middle when

Has to disagree. He does everything himself. By himself he set that massive plan in motion just to save Misa, which he did so only so Rem wouldn't kill him. Light didn't want Misa around or the others, he would have rather had full control over everything. Misa and the second death note were forced on him, and he tried to turn it from a burden to a benefit with Misa's eyes. Which he never really got to use fully.

Light is a genius a Master Mind and like a Master Mind he used pawn's and tools to do his work. Think of it like this. If Misa and Mikami were hammers and people needing to be killed were nails... someone has to swing the hammer and hit the nail. The Person swinging the hammer was Light. Everyone he used was just used.

If Light hadn't been bothered by Misa in the first place it would have only been him and Ryuk and I know that Light would have been able to pull everything off, defeat L and win it all in the end. Misa screwed him up, Mikami screwed him up, Takada screwed him up. It wasn't that the other people helped him, they hurt him more then helped him.

And Light may not have openly cared about anyone the way you may have liked but actually he did care. He cared about everyone. Yes he wanted to be a God to the people but he also wanted to make it a better place to live. He wanted people to be able to walk around with out fear of being mugged, raped, and killed. He didn't want people going off to war to die. He killed only those that deserved to die. As Light told Ryuk early in the show, The good people of the world don't have to be afraid, because as long as they don't do anything wrong, they won't have to be punished. While those who are evil will cower and be too afraid to do anything bad.

L on the other hand failed. He lost to Light in many ways including but not limited to Tennis, Kira, and even dried Lights foot. In some ways this can be viewed as L groveling and "bowing to" Kira.

L is overrated. Why does everyone like him so much. What is it about L that people like over Light. I've given you my argument on why Light is the best and superior to L... why is L so great. He lost, he sat awkwardly, and probably would have died from diabetes from his sweets addiction. Pathetic. Crushed by the hand of Kira.

Be smart as well don't say "L is the hawts lawl!11!!1" Give me a real argument.

Totally agree about the girls being really annoying. I kept hoping Light would just kill Misa and be like screw you REM! And that other girl, Takada? ughh... could she be more of a cry baby near the end.

Near was your favorite? him and his little toys were annoying. Although when he was solving the blanket puzzle and stuff like that he was sort of cool. Light is and always will be the best.
