The best way to create a place where everyone feels comfortable and have a place to fit in, the opinions and suggestions of the Members should be as important as those of the Staff. With that being said I open this discussion about what should be in the guild. I could split different sections up into different threads, but I think cramming them all into one works better for the creative end.
Any and all ideas are welcome.
Some things I've been thinking about:
Friday contests
1st friday of every month - Art contest (hand drawn, graphics, and so on)
2nd friday - Writing contest (Poetry, short story, and so on)
3rd friday - I don't know
4th friday - Special contests (Al's outfit one every 4 months, and others)
5th friday - some months have 5, could just be a contest break or set aside for other special contests.
With having contests every week, the prizes would be a bit smaller than if we had one contest a month. Some contests like Al's outfit would have no prize at all (well his is having the outfit displayed). Whats the going rate for prizes? I'm also thinking full guild votes instead of appointing judges.
RP Subforum
I know we have a few rp'ers here. Should it be set up as one rp, or many rp's in thread so we can jump around posting different SLs in user created threads?
Other Subforums
I don't know. lol. What would you guys like to see here?
Ok, if I continue, I can't guarentee that I'll make sense. lol. I'll post more later probably. Feel free to start post once this is up,

I like the ideas you have for the friday contests. Maybe a suggesting would be something like a special outfit day. where everyone tries to dress up there avatars to a theme...have it at a certain time and have everyone post there characters and then have a vote or contest.. or even just for fun. some ideas might be like cute outfits, pirate outfits, medieval outfits, oriental..etc..
as for the RP it would be fun i think either way, whether there are one or a few going on. I know I will be looking forward to the RP-ing.

any kind of RP-ing is fun, I am a big fan of the common fantasy RP, but any are fun.

Just out of curiosity what style of RP are you planning on doing. Is it going to be based on what the RP is whether it be fantasy, movie stars, movie reenactments, etc... or do you have a certain system in mind already. (when I say system, I mean how everything plays out, [ex. Dungeons and Dragons d20 dice system]). That was just a question I had. something I was curious about.
