I have an idea to keep the announcements in good order, start an announcement sub forum and a thread with a link to all announcements/stickys I did something similar in my guild they following is a like so you can see what I'm talking about http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=12292869I would greatly appreciate your feed back on this matter

I see where you're going with this. It is a good idea.
mrgreen I'll probably be a little picky on choice of words, but I do like it. (yay for editable posts!)
Although you would agree that it's okay to still have updates and non-permanent announcements normally in the main form?
While we're at it, I'll share you my idea for other subforms.
The recycle bin should probably stay.
And I was thinking that we should have a contest form, but that can probably be incorporated with the announcements subform.
Which leaves us with an extra form... and we have enough gold in our account for I think one or two more forms.
But don't buy them unless it's decided we need them.

Sounds liek a good idea Yata! And Immi I agree with a contest forum, But announcements for contests should be made in the man forum! ALSO, I think the contest forum should be SEPARATE from teh announcement forum. The same forum would just be confusing.

I think wolf is right there about the contest and announcement forums and I wan't planning on buying a sub forum till we got everything worked out^^

this idea can also be used for other sub forums aswell, like the Siggy & ART Mini Shops and the games. it would be a good way to let people know theres something new going on don't you think?

Actually, I have a freind with another guild that runs things mostly in Sub forums! So liek I think ish a good idea^^ I mean it seems to work for that guild!
