They say looks can be deceiving. This held true for one of many mansions parked in the back of some sort of dark, evil forest. Typical, no? So once one managed to traverse past the wild beasts and the winding road into the depths of the forest, they would stumble, in due time assuming they survived, onto Legion's abode. It was a typical sort of mansion on the outside, spaning about three floors high and just as likely three floors underground, with a sort of medieval decor that only D&D could spawn.

Inside was a whole different matter. Despite the outter appearance, which always showed some sort of disapproval to one's approach, it resembled a homely and well kept tavern that kept the classic elements of good upkeeping. Several wooden tables lined the wall and furnished the floor, each with four comfortable but basic wooden chairs. A red carpet split the room in two which marked a straight path to the bar ahead, the carpet spliting in two to embrace the bar.

To the far left of the bar, or right for those looking in, was a staircase which made its way to the upper and lower levels, that housed the rooms and other various things respectively. Though looking massive on the outside, the inside of the building was perhaps only a fifth of that size. The rest more or less unused and covered in illusion. A large garden did not need to get any larger, which was accessable from a side door in the main room. It was covered in illusion from the outside, only producing the truth once one passed through the side door or gate around the outside. It contained flowers of every sort and colour, despite not normally being a polka dot red and blue. Closer, against the building, all assortments of fruits and vegetables were grown. In a secluded part of that same section, pie trees, milkpods, and some meat producing trees were grown as well. Everything one could need to survive.

The center barstool was often occupied by a petite woman, no taller than 5'2", perhaps 5'1" without her sandals and 5'4" with her heels. Her hands were often occupied, brushing her silk soft purple curls or fingering a glass of wine. Her shoulders exposed, she wore a more conservative styled corset, which connected to her neck piece from the front, having a slight cut that traveled to show the beginnings of her fissure. A black skirt drapped her crossed legs, splitless and long enough to almost trail along the ground. Blindfolded, she sat there patiently. This was Lilith. Technically speaking... It was more her place than Legion's.

Did you have a problem with the decor? Suck it up. Both Lilith and Legion had grown accustomed to living in taverns and inns, resorts and hotels. Thus it suited the two of them perfectly. It also made a good place to begin a quest guild, hang with friends, and all around have that comfortable feel of a good old fashion tavern.

So this was were Lilith spent most of her days, sitting and waiting, for good news... her good news, that normally resulted in bad news for Legion. Just waiting for Legion to resolve his past. To be at ease with himself.

The replacement Legion showed up now and then as well. The traitor. Regardless, it seemed she would never achieve her happiness.

As well, though the tavern was certainly homely, there was not a soul aside for herself who was regularly there. It was quite the lonely existance.

Night of March 31, 2008 by Gaia standards

A journal? No way, why would one bother with a thread of such a thing. That is why the diary feature was implemented. What sat here tonight was Legion, surpisingly enough, while Lilith slept above on the second floor. Taking his usual seat, right of Lilith's, he ordered a simple drink. Nothing fancy or alcoholic, just some plain old orange juice. His server was himself, a shadow clone no less, typical and common but nonetheless handy and useful. This was a great way to bounce ideas and feelings around. Finding the problems that caused him great strife. Who better to talk to than himself, not internally, but openly where one can speak before thinking. Tailored answers would not be his friend in this game.

So he drank, receiving his drink, the bartender talking as one would to a troubled regular. "A dialog with yourself might lift your spirits. What is the matter?" Ignore the use of color, it is simply easier to understand the flow of conversation.

"You speak as if you do not know... and do not jest that it is because we are both clones... We both know that is a non-existant worry for us." He dropped his now empty glass on the bartop, "It is very troublesome to be like this. I feel like a traitor... but I've always been one haven't I? Love is such a dangerous thing, I see why some demons have their weaknesses as such."

The bartending Legion, grabbed the glass and deligently refilled it, before returning to work wiping down the bar and cleaning the dust ridden glasses. "A traitor... we're not a traitor. Situations change. They are all dead... or have left us for a much better life. We should be happy for them... they found some sort of happiness. As for love, it is a dangerous thing. We've both seen what it can amount to in Lilith. You speak of nonesense friend. What is really on your mind?"

"Mistress Kolana, Tifa and Tali... but it is that time of the year where Lust becomes not the forefront of the Sins but the subtle, devious sin she is. I feel as if I have done little to do anything about them..." He sighed and once again gulpped down the orange juice. This clone just prefered it this way.

"Put your regrets at rest and move on. Pay tribute, but do not lose yourself in the process. The resort would do fine, we all agreed on that, but you have lost your way doing such, no? No... We lost our way. Of course we did, but we're making room for more important cases, huh?"

The other nodded, standing up, "That we did... and still have yet to regret that. Perhaps it is better if we put aside these trivial thoughts. There is nothing to be gained by spirialing into this depression. We shall continue work on compiling our story. Perhaps somewhere in these memories... is something that will put ourselves at ease." The Legion vanished on the spot, with a heavy sigh. There was no real progress today, but indeed, he had ordered himself as he should of. The first thing on his list was to write and retell to himself, his own forgotten past. His wavering heart could be dealt with later. It was far too much trouble to deal with now.

The bartender nodded in agreement, of course he would agree with himself. They had their happiness before... they just lost it somewhere along the way. Perhaps all they lost was a little balance. Having a heart did that... which is why at the moment... he wouldn't have minded being a raping tentacle demon... They had no hearts... At least most didn't. Anyways, it would have made Lust get off his back.

Evening of April 2, 2008 by Gaia standards.

You never know. Sometimes it may be the six day of fall, like Harvest Moon style. For now, we'll keep it in Gaian standards.

Legion always had clones rampant, wherever and whenever they were needed. In this case however, he may have overextended himself. The clones who were taking care of the mansion slowly disappeared one by one. Most of the job was done anyways so they were really just taking up space to liven the place up. They all vanished in time, until the bartender was left, leaving only perhaps three Legions running around tonight. He sighed and leaned on the bartop, breathing deeply and sharply. Definitely overextended.

Lilith decended the stairs, gazing at the bartender with dull and lifeless, but soft eyes. Her blindfold was off at the moment, likely in the wash, allowing her deep red but unshining eyes to peer around the room. She knew the building like the back of her hand or so the expression goes. She sat down in her usual seat, resting her elbows on the counter and proping her head on the back of her hand. She smiled softly and ran her free hand through Legion's hair.

"Extended yourself too much, father?"

It was certainly a cruel sort of irony for Legion, being cared for by Lilith. He gathered up his strength and looked up at her with a soft smile, "Perhaps I did over do it..." His gaze met her's and for a moment he was locked in a trance. Luckly for him, his awareness was spread among the two other clones of him and quickly broke out of it. It was enchanting though. Lifeless, they seemed to hold the infinity of space rather than her soul. An infinity of possibilities... of deep sensual possibilities...

He shook his head violently to shake the thought off.

Lilith reached out quietly and caught her father in a passionate kiss. She held it for what would never be enough, before she pulled away gently and returned to her previous position. Breathing deeply, her chest heaving, she turned away turning a faint pink.

"Please don't hurt yourself..."

It was a pleasant sensation save for the draining of his soul which came with a succubus' kiss. He couldn't move being already drained of energy, her kiss making it more so difficult to break away. How contradictory. Don't hurt yourself she says.

Legion breathed heavily, though keeping his gaze upon his daughter. Despite his pain, he found himself prey of a slight blush. Lilith knew his every desire, having had some contact with the sins between his last death and revival. Lust... was only one of seven and was causing him great trouble... the rest were still partially sealed. He was no longer sure he could contain them. "... I'll... I'll be more cautious..."

Legion dropped to the ground, in a kneeling position, holding a hand on his chest and gasping for breath. It wasn't that his body was defective. By all means his body would forever stay in perfect physical condition. However his mentality was weak and his will weaker. He was choking on his own soul... whatever was still left of it. Thus ended this night's events for Legion.

Day of May 1st, 2008 Gaia standards.

She rushed to her father wordlessly, carrying him into the basement underarm. He was heavy but was no worse than a drunken comrade. After several flights of stairs and crossing dozens of halls, she set him down on a bed in a rather simple and normal room. It was said kings and queens never slept in their true beds, you could say the same for Legion. He didn't have a fear of death, but rather isolated himself to prevent the death of others. Most would not survive a night beside a true sleeping Legion.

"Father... You won't survive if you keep this up. Your body... It's worse than solidifying... They're actually rotting your substance away. You're deteriorating at an alarming rate! Stop fighting... It's ok, now. You're home..." For now she would ignore the stench of an elf which coated Legion underneath his blood soaked garments as she ripped them off to hook him up to monitoring devices.

He had come back home earlier in the day, having dragged himself out the law office's washroom. He knew something was dreadfully wrong with his body and now he was doubly certain of it. Lilith's eyes... or therefore lack of eyes had given her another 'sense' of sorts. Plus her succubus curse gave her a much better understanding of the body of anything considered or taking up a male form.

He had a splitting headache and for once screamed in agony as it sharply pulsed and fried his nerves. He couldn't remove the nerves or change his body anymore. He was stuck in his human form now. A decaying and weak form. His body felt like tearing in two and no sooner did it start to feel like that did his body start to do so on its own. The Sins were on the verge of running rampant.

It was not that Legion bore the sins of the world. By no means was he fit to have such an important job. Others held the same responsibility, to keep the balance of the world in check. No one could survive the burden of the world alone. Absolutely, no one.

His conciousness was going. The pain, the possession. It was far too much. Legion was strong, he had endured physical pain where most would wish to die without a sound, but this was beyond his threshold. This was beyond his understanding of what pain was. "The arm..." He grit his teeth to the point where they started to crack under the pressure of each other, in order to speak. "Bring that accursed arm..."

Her face held that of genuine surprise. "That arm..."
No.
No.
If she continued, she would be too late. With a nod, obeying her father's orders, she went post-haste to retrieve that arm.

She returned with a black coal arm, demonic in look, similiar to the arms of the Invisibles of Kingdom Hearts. She was breathing heavily, having spent more energy physically than ever before. The maze like path to get to Legion's true room... was a maze like no other. Carrying him down here took its toll as well.

"Forgive me," was all she could say as she summoned a sword and pulled her father's left arm out to the side. There was a swift flash of metal and Legion's left arm was no longer connected from the shoulder down. She then pushed the end of the black arm where it would connect to the shoulder against her father's bleeding stub, muttering a spell to finalize the bonding.

That time she was gone felt like an eternity. The pain wasn't only coursing though all of his nerves, but felt as if running through pain receptors he didn't have! What was worse was that it was a pulsing pain which would almost never allow him to get accustomed to the pain. Moreover, his body now was litterally ripping apart from the right side of the neck down. Skin, muscles and organs all being ripped apart. Thankfully, an angel came.

Another scream.
He had lost his left arm followed by his set of teeth in his frantic bid to fight the pain. It hurt, it burned, but he knew Lilith was doing as she knew and was told. This, though rare in occasion, was Lilith's second time.

The arm was an old friend... it possessed no mind or will of its own, but would soon possess seven once again. And the blood. The blood which remained in the arm would soon flow into Legion. Blood that would remind him of older days... older days that would fill Legion's mind with rage. He shivered slightly at the touch, this strange old friend which he would never grow accustomed to, as it melded in place of his previous arm.

The pain subsided when the arm attatched completely, forcing those he shared his body with into that one single arm. He could control it now, his form of choice as well as his own body. At that moment it felt like everything before was just a dream. Unreal in pain. He breathed heavily, laying there and staring up into the ceiling. He would remain here for a while, until his vitals were running smooth once again.

The process was complete. In a sudden rush of relief, she dropped to the floor knees spread beneath her so her bottom touched the floor. "Phew..."

The relief was not for long though. That arm wasn't just left nowhere. It was attached to someone else earlier, who now needed medical attention. That was fine though, he gave his consent as long as it would be replaced. If Lilith didn't start soon, she wouldn't be able to do so. She got up, reluctant to leave her father's side, but promises were promises. Wordlessly, she left the room again to continue the sudden day's work.
