The stars sparkled beautifully over the local lake. The full moon was out as well, reflecting its light beautiful on the water below it. The night was perfect for star gazing or a good moonlight swim. Sadly, Feo wasn't interested in this at all. He had come here to simply be in the place his father always spends hours training by, ever since he had been his age. Yes, Feo was now an official adult. Unlike his sister Gabriella, he was trying to get used to it.
He sat down and folded his ears back as he stared down at his reflection in the calm water in front of him, as if asking his reflection of what he was supposed to grow into, what was he supposed to be....? Feo had little clue what it meant to be an adult, besides being a bit more serious and less playful. Should he start training obsessively like his father and protect his siblings like a mad man...? No... Sure he would protect his siblings from anything, but that wasn't exactly what he wanted to focus. His gaze softened as his blue eyes looked up to look at the moon above him. He had expected more out of being an adult. Why did he feel so small....?

The water was like another world to her, seperate and free from the earth and the sky, even as it darkened deeper and deeper into the night. The feeling of cool, smooth water washing over Misu was like being wrapped up in the most comforting of blankets. As a vaporeon, she charished every moment she could possible spend in the water without stepping out on land. As she was doing now, swimming further and further down stream as night slowly closed in on her. Yet she persued onward, not yet satisfied to leave the wonderous world of water. For leaving this watery sancuary meant stepping back into the pits of her loneliness once again.
So even though the sky above her had been dark for hours, she swam further and further downstream until suddenly, the narrow passage of the river opened up into a universe of water, a grand, glistening lake so vast that she couldn't see the other side. Thrilled, Misu popped her head out of the water, gazing out across the water's shifting surface as it reflected the stars. She sighed, both with admiration and exhaustion. She gazed up at the night sky, knowing that if she were to continue swimming much longer she would get too exhausted. With much resentment, she forced herself to swim toward the soft, muddly band of the lack and climb out of it. She groaned as she did so, glanced back over her shoulder at the water once more as she stepped out in the bitter cold wind. She shivered, before looking for a place to sleep for the night.
She wandered around the water's edge, no willing to stray too far from it. She could feel her eyes grow baggy as she tiredly dragged her white, fin-shaped tail. She could feel her blue paws slowly get muddier and muddier as they trekked across the soft-faced earth. She moaned with annoyance, nearly ready to plop herself down right there and closing her eyes to sleep.
But the she spotted something up ahead. Or rather, someone She raised her elegant head, the regal fins that surrounded her head and neck catching the moonlight with the droplets of water that still remained. To her great pleasure, she realized that it was another eevee. Excitement filled her at once and energy seemed to refill her once again. Her pace quicked as she walked towards the other, but still she couldn't move fast enough. Losing patience with her worn feet, she called out to the other in a cheery voice, "Hello, there!"

...It was such a wonderful night. A perfect night! The glaceon's round eyes stared increduously at the eyes luminating a faint light of its own. If only she could obtain that sort of light... It would be amazing.. The glaceon's eyes darted across the night, listening to random kricketunes singing in the darkness and the unknown voice only she heard from the stars. "Go, Celeste... Break your eyes away from us. Go to the water to meet two pokemon, now. It is important you do." She sighed softly, her dreamy gaze still on the sky. But all it did was repeat itself.. She felt an internal cry ring inside of her. Her ears pricked high upwards; she listened to a new sound, the sound of a voice. "So you are right like always, my friend... I will believe you then. Thank you," she said, her voice hoarse and strained from days of few words exchanged. A small echo saying, "your welcome" replied back.
She slowly, and loudly, yawned and broke her eyes away from the sky painfully and Celeste couldn't hlp but wince in make-believe pain. She glumly dragged her feet across the ground decorated with an ocassional dry leaf fallen from the trees that once danced with the wind...
Crunch... crunch.... crunch...
The noise continued on in a determinded manner, though the glaceon was not until she reached the two pokemon the sky spoke of. She stared at them blankly. Her tail swayed faintly. "...Hello. Who are you two? I'm Ce.... leste," she said slowly in a dull voice, her eyes once more darting up at the sky. Just an eevee and vaporeon. She sighed. The sky-watcher was hoping for something iteresting... A charizard or Hypno... A threat, one might say that could protect her. Or him. She yawned once more.

Feo broke away from his troubling thoughts and looked to the vaporeon and the glaceon who had directed their attention to him. When had they arrived at this place? He was usually more aware then this. It was slightly discouraging that it was now proven possible for more than one pokemon to sneak up on him at a time. "Hey..." He said and smiled slightly. The way the glaceon spoke, it was so slow... it was kind of weird. "I'm Feo... erm... nice night, isn't it?" He said and looked up at the sky once more. His tail swished to the side before curling up in front of him. Now he felt a bit awkward to have company around him. The evee had been so sure he would be alone here at this time of night.

Misu stopped before the eevee, jumping slightly when the glaceon suddenly approched them. Yet, she spoked so slowly and dully the feeling of surprise quickly subsided. She looked back to the eevee before looking up at the sky. "Yes, I suppose it is..." she said softly. Well, it was beautiful. That much was true. But she couldn't help but feel that it's mirrored image on the water's face was more beautiful. Pulling herself out of her watery-train of thought she looked to the other two, saying in an almost too friendly tone, "I'm Misu! It's a pleasure to meet you two." She smiled, flicked her finned tail once before sitting upon the earth. "Looks like I'm not the only one wandering around in the middle of the night, huh?"

"Yes, yes... The night it's magnificent... Beautiful," she responded, her eyes drifting once more to the sky, only lighted because of the pigments of light the stars provided. She forced her head down to look at Feo, then Misu. One with the image of another pokemon, forced into vaporeon form and the other with a much more natural look, like something she once saw in a book though, in its own way, much more different.
Her dull eyes gathered an unnatural shine. "Misu and Feo...? I see. And as for wandering... In the middle of the night... I was told to... The stars did," she said slowly, pausing many times to catch a quick glimpse of the stars or something nearby, a buneary dashing over some fallen leaves, the nearby splashing of a finneon.. Such beautiful sounds in her ears. The glaceon smiled and sat down. "So, why might you to be doing up so... Late? The stars won't tell me anything, right now..." She frowned and swayed her tail gently.

"Yeah, a pleasure..." Feo repeated the vaporeon in almost a murmur. After being surprised like that it was hard for him to get excited. His blue eyes looked over at the glaceon, taken off guard by what she said. "You talk to stars...?" He asked, doubtfully. That sounded like something a crazy person would do... well... for all he knew she might be. The starry glaceon did seem a bit strange after all. His tail curled around in front of him. "Just a walk so I could think a bit. I'm considering stuff about my life. My own problems, you know? Nothing you would be interested in, I'm sure..."

Misu blinked at Celeste, her childisly tilting in confusion. She flicked her tail once as she thought about her words. Talking to stars, hm? Even if it was a bit of a crazy thought, it was at least a plesant one. At least she wouldn't ever get lonely. I mean, with all the bazillon of stars that there were to talk to, who could get lonely? Except maybe in the day time...
Misu shifted slightly in her seat, the earth feeling a bit uncomfortable. "I've just been traveling around. You know, trying to find a place to sleep for the night.." Misu said simply to appease the glacieon's answer. Her eyes seemed to be locked onto the eevee now. His words made her head fold back slightly as she dared to ask, "I'm sorry... I hope we aren't interupting or bothering you or anything like that..."
