History of HTRP
Halo : The RP or, HTRP as some call it, was the physical outcome of a Fan's dream. My dream. I started this guild not just to role-play as characters from the popular Video Game: HALO, but to create a community of members who are devoted to role-playing and the future of what the guild was founded on, Friendship.
HTRP started with a lot of late nights of bumping in the Chatterbox, and a generous donation from a friend. When the guild was made, there were a lot of mistakes, but it still took off with 5 active members who were not very good. But after months of tedious work, bad spelling and horrible grammar, we all became some of the best Role Players on Gaia. They all remember their roots, and thank me to this day for what the guild has shown them..
September 19th, 2007 at 9:08:51PM EST, I, Benjamin David Resnick, stepped down as owner and Captain of Halo : The RP, and handed it off to Michael Hammer (Destitution) who has just surpassed the 10,000th post landmark.
We are still the same guild as before. From Theta Halo, to the shores of New Mombassa, My friends and brothers in Halo : The RP continue to bring the fight to the enemy.
And with great pride I declare the guild I build with my own two hands:
The Best and Most Active Halo guild on Gaia.
Today it still continues to be an inspiration to the many and a monument to the few. A monument for Role Playing, for what it should be. So, as my blessing to the guild and its new captain:
