The fire colored storyteller made her slow way to the center of the herd, her head ducked low in a shameful manner. Her tail quivered against her rump and her slender legs shook with fear. Her burning orange eyes darted this way and that looking for the starry pelted Lord of the Herd. She could feel his red eyes watching her every move, awaiting the chance to "save" her. And possibly get a free meal from it. She sighed softly.
She reached the main oak and smelled Brychan before she saw him. A questioning feeling sank into her gut. It WAS him! It had to be! She cursed silently under her breath and stubbornly martched on. "Brychan! My Lord! I have news!" she called out and waited.

Hearing someone call for him, a hind no less... Brychan stepped out blinking his blue eyes.
He paused immediately, for something didn't look right about the hind, he could practicly smell the fear coming off of her. "What is it?" he asked with a slight wariness, glancing around once as if expecting something to come leaping out at any momeny.

Iris bit back a growl tha was transfered into her very soul. Her ears went back. "Lord Brychan, you have heard the rumors of the Fallen that has been wandering around the herds? I'm sure Boyd has told you of our encounter. Well, I have a problem...."
She broke off into an uneasy silence. All of his feelings slid out of her like a warm snake. He was still there. Could she hear him breathing? No, that was Brychan. "My Lord," she wisppered, "He is here."

Brychan lifted a brow at Iris' tale of a Fallen attacking some other herd. "No..." he replied with a slightly confused tone, "I have not heard about it." So if he didn't know about it.. how come -he- hadn't been told of this incident? He wasn't even sure what herd she was refering to since they really had no relations with any other herd around. It was all most confusing for him.
Ears flicked as she lowered her voice, a frown creasing his maw, "A Fallen is here? Where is it?" he asked in a demand. Of course.. the only Fallen he really know about was Bryce... and that one had been told to stay away. Hell would surely break loose if he was trying to sneak over here.
(( Post already.. stupid thing. ))

Iris tried to stay her shaking legs and puff her chest out bravely. "I can call him if you want," she offered. The cold feeling of true fear mixed with excitement in the pit of her being. She didn't want to call him for fear of what he would do. He needed to heal though and she wasn't going to turn anything hurt away. She quietly cursed her tender heart.

"No!" he said suddenly at her suggestion, eyes narrowing slightly at the hind. Just what was she thinking anyway? "I'll go to him." There was no need to get the herd in a panic... there was probably already stirrings of discontent since she had walked through the middle of the herd showing such fear. Foolishness.
"Take me to him" he commanded softly, and followed after Iris once she got moving.

Iris slipped away into the shadows. The heavy pounding of Brychan's hooves followed her. "Beelzebub? Beelzebub?" she wispered to low for normal hearing to catch. Good thing she wasn't trying to get the attention of something normal. The cold feeling grew as he approached.
Red glowing eyes found his master quickly. She was calling him by his real name. What did she need him for? Tilting his head of broken, stained antlers, he wandered from the brush. The sound of his real name kept the hunger at bay.
Iris froze when she saw the black rotting stag. "Beelz.... I mean Gluttony!" she gasped catching herself before revealing his true name thus binding him to someone else or shattering the spell altogether. He bow his wicked looking skull before her. "You called me, Master?" he boomed. His ember-like eyes never left Brychan.
((For the sake of playing two characters, I'll leave the text black.))

Brychan followed carefully behind her, a feeling of dread welling in the pit of his stomach. He did not like the Fallen.. not one bit, but then.. nobody could blame him. They were cursed deer... evil... and certainly not to be trusted. Certainly not more than a wolf. Still he followed her, gaze focused mostly on Iris until they finally reached the beast itself.
Blue eyes narrowed as the thing spoke, calling Iris its master. "Why did you bring it here?" he asks in a cold tone, gaze never leaving the cursed stag. "I want him gone... now... I don't care what your reasons are. He is to leave."
