I am in need of new music to listen to. I mainly listen to rock and metal. Anyone want to share some metal or rock bands they love or just like? Just a warning music is a big part of my life and I have a lot of music. I might have already heard most of the bands you put here. But please I need more music and new bands to listen to.

I listen to allot of Gorillaz, Superchic[k], and tobyMac. A grate band i wold suggest wold be Family Force 5. I've also started listening to Evanescence, but you probably have that.

Well, as far as metal goes, there's always System of a Down.
A few European metal bands are Lordi, Sonata Arctica (I may have misspelled that), and Rhapsody of Fire. Also, a few good metal-opera-mix bands are Nightwish, Leaves Eyes, and Within Temptation. As far as rock bands go... Foo Fighters, Nickleback, Circa Survive, Brand New, Moneen, Mon Frere, Flyleaf, Taking Back Sunday, Three Days Grace, Against Me!, Korn, Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, Autovein, Kill Hannah, Hawthorne Heights, Ash, Incubus, Spitalfield, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Subways, Alexisonfire, Nirvana, Plumb(sorta), Queens of the Stone Age, Linkin Park (sorta), Thrice, Muse, Sex Pistols, Velvet Revolver, Weezer, The Strokes, Armor For Sleep...
...And that's all I can think of right now.
But anyway, what kind of rock do you like? Soft, metal, screamo, "emo", pop-rock, pop-punk...? If I can pin down any specific sound I can probably find you a lot more. And also, a great website (it's actually an online radio) for finding new music is pandora.com. You just make a free account, punch in a song or band you like, and it starts pulling up music like what you entered. It's where I get most of my new music from.
And, in my defense, I did say in my intro that I like music. mrgreen

Hmm.. it's kinda hard to make a list when I don't know what you are already listening too. confused
Right now I'm listening to a lot of NIN, HIM, Otep, MSI, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Vnv Nation, and Tool.
