On average, 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents everyday.
This sounds serious to me...i mean any of us could be mixed up...
So my problem is what happens when the figure out the were mixed-up? Let's say the kids are already 12 and the parents love them to death and suddenly they find out that the child they raised isn't really even theirs....what are you supppose to do? Accept it and take your real child and forget about the other?
This is a serious problem!! What should be done to stop it? Is it unaviodable?

I think as soon as the baby pops out the nurses take a permanent maker to the babies head and write their last names on them and the first letter of their mom's name.

Permanent maker? Baby skin is fagile!! maybe they should do the same thing they do in the morgue...u know the toe thing...
