Sakun looked wearily around the clearing. His clear purple eyes scanned every moss covered surface in his clearing.
He had been woken by a soft humming noise not even a minute ago and he was determined to find what it was.
"I swear that I heard something..." He mumbled softly to himself. His razor sharp talons dug anxiously into the ground as he raised himself higher on his feet to get a better look. Nothing.
Shaking his head, he laid back down upon his rock. "I must have been imagining it. Stupid Sakun. Just go back to sleep." Sakun closed his eyes and attempted to continue his nap.

 Sitara was busy looking for her dinner on the forest edge. She was looking for a certain small rodent that was oh so delicious...it was her favorite.
"I will never find anything if I don't stop making so much noise"
She stepped out of the forest edge, cracks a stick while stepping and emerges into a small clearing. She starts to hum to herself. Now being out of the forest the sun was beating down on her. There was a slight breeze blowing towards the north that felt nice on her feathers. Sitara sighed as she stretched
"I'll head this way I guess!"
She turned towards a bunch of large rocks and hummed some more.

Sakun opened one of his eyes to glance around the clearing. The humming noise was back. Though this time, it was slightly louder, closer.
He didn't move, choosing to wait until the humming noise presented itself to him.
Quickly, the humming seemed to be only a few meters away.
The large leafed brush to his left started moving rapidly.
A small rabbit like creature stepped out.
Sakun slowly lifted himself up from his resting spot, trying not to attract the creature's attention. The rabbit just nosed around the clearing quietly. It wasn't humming.

Sitara sneaked about the best she could. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a small mammal and instantly stopped humming. "look how fat it is!" she thought as saliva pooled in her mouth."what luck!" she thought. Low to the ground she prowled closer. "Got for it!" she encouraged herself as she leapt in the air on top of the prey. The creature twitched a bit and kicked then it was over. The small body flopped dead with hardly a struggle. "Well that went well!" she shouted in glee.
