ok in the live action movie i found things that are screwed up
such as in the cartoon or the original i should saw alvin had really cute blue eyes not brown
and i am sure you all know that Simon plays the key board or piano not a bass guitar as you can see and in the original cartoons the wore turtle necks not hoodies that dose not matter thought there cute ether way if you find other flaws post them here

It should be noted that Simon plays bass guitar (has since before the new movie), piano/keyboard, and the saxaphone. So the movie didn't really screw that up.

Yes, Alvin's eyes were brown, not blue, I'll give you that. But the owners Ross Bagasarian Jr. and his wife, (Ross being the son of Ross Sr. who created the munks) worked very closely with the movie, and were part of it all the way through. Everything had to be okay'd by them for it to go through, that's why the movie was such a good one. He's very picky about that kind of stuff, I know, I used to e-mail him and we'd talk about that every so often.

I think like a post above me said, they may have changed his eye color to match his hoodie. If his eyes were red however, it would make him look scary, plus in the wild animals with red eyes are mostly albino. So, they may have chosen brown for him to accomadate the color correlation.
