The light of the day was slowly sweeping across the forest, lighting the area and setting off tiny prisms in the form of dew. The sight was something few would stay up until dawn to see...but a white colored Eevee sat in awe, watching the colors. Her golden colored eyes taking in the sight. She hadn't been home for a while, but she didn't make herself noticed so she wasn't sure if her presence would be missed or not but at the moment? It was worth it. A small smile graced her face as she pulled herself out from the bush she had been sleeping under and shook herself, sending the dew on her fur flying about.
With her siblings all evolving, She felt somewhat distanced from them. She didn't even know if she wanted to evolve or not. The only one she liked was the flying Aereon. She loved the form her father had taken because he kept all four of his legs...but she had heard a rumor that in future generations...there was a chance of losing the front two legs, That and she would have to give up swimming, due to the wings weight when wet. A shudder ran through her at the thought of losing the ability to run at top speeds along the paths of the forest.
She had taken to watching other Eevees from a safe hiding spot, watching them play...fight...love...and just live their lives without a care to show the world. She climbed a tree and watched the clearing she had been watching for days now,. A pair of kits ran out and squealed happily, playing a rough tussle that two older ones had to sort out. When the group finally reliesed they were being watched and lifted their eyes to the tree, Ryn was off, leaping from tree branch to tree branch, taking herself as far away as she could.
Reaching the lake she took a daring leap from her current branch and dove into the water happily. A Vaporeon would keep her close to the water, which she loved...but would keep her from darting from tree to tree which also was fun. As she surfaced she looked up at the sun, shading her eyes with a paw. Flareon would be nice but once more, no swimming. Umbreon would be able to do both...but something about the Dark nature of the evolution bugged her dearly. Most of the other evolutions ran through her head but were shot down, Either it would prevent her from doing what she loved most or she just was bugged by it.
She swam to the edge of the lake and pulled herself out. She gave a great shake and water splattered around the area, soaking whatever was around her. She lay down and rolled onto her back, thinking to herself......
