Do you believe it is wrong for people to read/like fanfiction and write it?
I mean in the sense that I know people who think that's really gross (to read fanfiction).
People I personally know think someone is a big time pervert because they read fanfiction, however they don't think that when it comes to doujinshi.
Its like saying oh reading something is stupid, but looking at is better.
That doesn't make sense well to me it doesn't.
I personally like both; I have no problem with neither.
I myself write fanfiction and love to read it.
So do you believe it's wrong?
I mean either way Doujinshi or fanfiction it still involves out favorite ninjas right?
So then whats the difference I don't think there is.

Exactly.
Personally, I think that doujinshi is a visual form of fanfiction.
Nothing wrong with either. Both appeal to the minds/eyes of the fans who adore the characters within them.
Plus, they're entertaining.

Why would it be wrong? I love fanfiction and I look at doujinshi occasionally.. And much of it isn't perverted at all. So, I have no idea why people would generalize it and say that. I don't think that it's wrong at all.

I don't think it is wrong. Being a fanfiction writer myself, I really enjoy creating stories that would never happen, (but could). Writing is a form of art.

I agree with Pessimiste. Doujinshi is a visual form of fanfiction. I don't believe there is anything wrong with either one.

I have a friend who hates fanfiction because fans create events that never happen/wouldn't happen. I like to think of it as a form of practice writing.
I personally love both doujinshi and fanfiction.

well, in a fanfic you have to imagen it yourself, but in a doujinshi it's there right before your eyes XD
I know some people that automaticly thinks that if you read fanfics or doujinshis then you're a pervert. not all of the doujinshis/fanfics are pervert and if they're, they're still great. I'm jealous of people that can make such a great art, even if it's pervert or not. >: D

How could it be wrong? Is another way of writing. Would you say that reading a book is wrong? I dont think so thats how I see it. As another book if its short or long I dont care.

If it was so wrong to write fanfictions, then what would be the point of books? I mean there are fans of Vampires, so someone wrote a book about them. A fiction, I might add. So, I mean...come on. That's simply silly.
