Usually when I read manga, I like to go into the details of the story, why things happen, plot, etc. etc. Some people don''''t do that, and get confused about the story. So here I am, making my own little thread about DNAngel manga, and anime. I''''ve read only the mangas so far, and haven''''t seen the anime, but since mangas usually go into more detail than the animes, I think I can pull it off 3nodding . So, any questions you have about DNAangel, please ask me in thos forum! If I don''''t answer the question in at least 2 day''''s time, PM me and I will answer you. Please note that all answered questions will be put into THIS post, I will not make another post to answer a question. I will try to check this as much as I can to answer questions, too. "How does Kosuke become Dark? He''''s not a part of the Niwa bloodline?"

Kosuke doesn''''t become dark, Emiko wanted a son so that she can compensate for not being able to transform into dark herself, since she''''s female. Emiko is obviously Daiki''''s daughter, which means she carried the genes neccesary for her child to become Dark. Remember in the Manga it says that "Dark is returning after 40 years of absence", those 40 years are the years when Daiki''''s feelings of love were returned by his ''''Sacred Maiden'''', and they had Emiko. Emiko couldn''''t transform into Dark, so they had to wait untill the next generation before Dark could appear again, therefore 40 years have passed before Dark''''s return, in Daisuke.

"Krad has a weird name..."

Krad is Dark''''s counterself, so Krad is just Dark''''s name spelled backwords.

Spoiler--"What''''s with Satoshi''''s transformation? It just happened out of nowhere..."

Like Daisuke, Satoshi is a tamer, that means that a certain emotion will make them transform. Daisuke''''s emotion is love, that transforms him into Dark, appearently Satoshi''''s emotion is friendship(or it can be worry for friends, friendship would transform him almost all the time, really. Notice Krad''''s first appearance is when Satoshi is telling Daisuke to get away from the lighthouse...)

"What''''s a tamer?"--Spoiler"

A tamer is the person who carries the DNA to transform. Daisuke transforms into Dark, therefore he is Dark''''s tamer. Satoshi transforms into Krad, therefore he is Krad''''s tamer.

Spoiler-- "Isn''t Satoshi''s emotion caring? I mean, that''s why he first transforms into Krad isn''t it?"

I wouldn''t say that it is caring at all. If you read the manga there are just simply way too many places that would transform him to Krad. I''d say "worry" suites him better, seeing as how when Krad was about to fight with Dark on the sea ledge, he transforms back to Satoshi, after Dark forces Daisuke back, seeing as how Satoshi doesn''t worry about Dark, but worries about Daisuke being hurt.

"If Krad was on the outside when he was fighting with Dark when Daisuke appeared, how did that transform him back into Satoshi?"

Satoshi was awake within Krad, just like how when Daisuke still loved Risa, but Daisuke transformed into Dark, while Dark was awake. (Second book, after they fall)

"If Dark leaves, can Daisuke still transform?"

It's quite evidant that no, if Dark leaves Daisuke he cannot transform anymore. But the only way for Dark to leave is for his 'Sacred Maiden' to love both, Daisuke and Dark within him. After Dark leaves, though, Daisuke will not be able to transform anymore since he no longer holds Dark's essence within himself.

Spoiler---"Wait; if Daisuke won't be able to transform into Dark anymore when Dark's essence is gone, why was Dark capable of transforming into Daisuke when Daisuke's essence was stolen?"

It's still Daisuke's body, Dark is just living in it. That means that Daisuke's DNA remains the same, even if Dark is still there and Daisuke is not. The DNA is what enables Daisuke to transform in the first place.

Spoiler- Who is the mysterious person in the tenth book that refers to Dark as Kokuyoku?

Um, I can't give any spoilers past the tenth book seeing as how only books up to the tenth have come out in the U.S. The most I can tell you right now is that it's an artwork, seing as how he can use magic and that he/she also says "It's been a long time since I've got to see the outside world."

um...AllHallows isnt satoshi's transformation trigered by caring? thats what i thought.

Oh okay i see so if he ever liked someone even just a bit he would transform into Krad?
