Is anyone else out there shocked/appalled at this?
And I have a question for the excessively experienced Lolitas: Does A&P use this kind of language often?

I'd rather that the argument "Well, it was designed by Isobes, so it's automatically Lolita; end of story!!" be left out of it, but if you must, you must.

Note: This is NOT a thread for fighting about whether or not it is proper for Lolitas to use profane language, so I beg you to please refrain. I am fully aware that many of you have differing opinions, and that is fine. There is another thread in this guild to discuss those particular views.

Thank you.
Have a lovely day. ~ <3

Yea, I see swears on lolita (mostly gothic, guro or pirate) when shopping here lots. It's not like just because your a lolita that you should stop swearing, I mean swearing has nothing to do with fashion really; and if says it on a shirt, so what who cares.

Personally I am shocked and appalled to see that sort of thing on ANYONE, no matter the fashion.

It is rather sad, especially seeing how beautiful the rest of the shirt is. Very much a shame. I am not exactly sure how to look at or classify it, considering I hate profanity yet I would probably wear that shirt and just find a way, with bleach probably, block out the word... it is not very lolita at all, that is all I have to say.

Agreed the design is very fitting for the particular line since it is Alice and the PIRATES, and from what I may recall the pirates where not the most eloquent of people in their era. I love the shirt and waiting for my own to wear for Punk Lolita and if people find it distasteful then they may cover their eyes and look away. I find it much more distasteful to see someone parading around in the street in a skimpy skirt where I can clearly see their underwear and such than this since profanity really is a lot more common in our society now a days.

When I saw that go up, my reaction was laughter. I am not offended by this at all. If I had the money, I would totally buy and wear it.

It all depends on the category of the style of Lolita you're wearing. Of course if you were wearing sweet Lolita or some such clothing it would be inappropriate.

But if you dress in the pirate, punk, ect lolita it may be OK. The style after all is more edgier and not so much classical. It also is up to the person to advertise themselves as someone who uses vulgar language.

Honestly it's just a word. It would be the people that have made it vulgar and rude. I would wear it, especially since it is a more relax/casual lolita. I would even wear this under a pirate jacket. I don't think you could consider it punk only becuase it's got an over feeling of soft and light.

You've never acctualy experienced Lolita In Japan huh?

Like I said above - swearing on clothing Items is Popular here - even in the Lolita fashion. It just dosn't faze most People here that it's somthing horible.

Lolita's in Japan swear lots - not very many are the "perfect, innocent, child-like" girls you all seem to think you have to be to dress in lolita.

Lolita's in japan are REBELS ok? We don't want to fit in with the modeled society we have here in Japan and want to stand out. Fashion is our way to do that - Lolita is our way to do that.

eh, i don't really have a problem with it (favorite J-brand is SexPotRevenge). i agree with most of the others, though, that the shirt would most likely be subcategorized under punk or pirate.

I wasnt suprised at all , they think that out lauguage is interesting as a fashion statment. Dosnt anybody remember all the kanji that went around america , on shirts and as tattoos and such. Its really just a word and like most it can become anything. To most it is appealing becuase it attracts attention. And there are some lolis that wear the style to do just that. So No I woulndt buy the shirt , but my not wanting has nothing to do with the words on it. (I just think Id look bad in it *grin*) So yes its loli and whatever its just a shirt.
Edit: I took a second look and decided that the word actually fits in well with the theme of the shirt as being "rebel" no matter what sub-categorie it is.
