the person who's playing edward ruins my image of edward in my mind!!!! my image of edward is squished w/ this guy at hot topic and this guy at journeys!!!!

..PEOPLE..PEOPLE..PEOPLE..THIS IS RIDICULOUS..
..You have GOT to stop dissing Pattinson..You have no clue how his acting skills have changed throughout the years..every movie changes in skills and every director wants different voices and makeup..that pic is not one from TWILIGHT..it is one from some other movie..and the pics of the family..they were not finished..there are a lot more..but they have not been released to the public..so before you let Robert ruin you image of Edward..wait till you see more picture and his acting in THIS movie not others..

..Gosh People.. Okay. You are just a robert fangirl. I don't know how or why you think he is such a beautiful and good actor. In Goblet of Fire when he was supposed to be dead from voldy, you see his chest basically heaving in the background. I am hoping Edward doesn't somehow die in Breaking Dawn just so Robert doesn't have to be embarrased with his chest heaving. And your signature did not dazzle me, it made me throw up a little bit.

Well, if you think of it maybe he's not so bad.
I mean it's hard to make it in casting auditions and he actually landed the role in the movie. And better yet he landed THE guy role.
So, maybe he'll surprise us.

i feel bad for him. he's edward. the "greek god"looking vampire!! evrybody liks different things so hes kinda gotta try to be all of them for fear of being run ovr by us twilight-crazed fans... he wouldn't have been my first pick, but maybe the guy that i wouldve picked sucked at acting or somthing..

Honestly? I actually (me and Whiteheartedsakura) flipped when i found out robert was acting as Edward.. I think he's sooo goodlooking! And he matches perfectly in my mind.. i guess im the only one inhere that thinks that way, but Stephenie picked him, so im not the only in the world wink
But i did flip more when i found out who's playing Bella.. Cuz that actor is soo kawaaii! She fits to my imagination too.. Its funny, but i actually think they all fits perfectly in my mind.. i couldnt have picked better ones--

After seeing pictures and videos of him onset I think he makes a great Edward. I also heard he's working really hard to capture Edward and be as much like him as possible.
I had my doubts in the beginning but I think he's a good choice now.

I said this once before in another topic and I'll say it again.
Everyone's "Edward" will be different from everyone else's. So relax. Breathe.
So what if someone likes the actor who is playing Edward and you don't. So what if you feel like they did a bad job at find the "perfect" Edward for you.
Do you realize how hard it is for movie makers to find the "perfect" actor that everyone will like? Do you realize how hard it is to find an actor that can play the part?
Give him a chance. Don't look at the pictures of him from other movies that he has done. Look at the pictures of him for this movie. If you still don't like it then fine.
And no, I am not a total fan of Robert.

I have to admit that when I found out who was playing him I was dissapointed at first, but after watching the mtv videos I don't think he will do badly with the part. He is not my Edward, but I think he can be AN Edward, if that makes any sense.
