Everyone post your favorite book, series, and authors (just specify which it is).
I'll try and keep a running list, so whenever you run out of good books, you can try one from the list. Just keep in mind, that just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be on the list. If anyone recommends it, I'll add it whether I know it or not. Just don't flame the book/author/person who suggested it. Of course, constructive criticism with backed up reasons are fine.
Oh, and I'm not going to put Harry Potter/J.K. Rowling or Inheritance Cycle/Christopher Paolini or Lord of the Ring/J.R.R. Tolkienon here since I'm sure everyone already knows them. (of course, i kinda just did sweatdrop )

My fav fantasy series would have to be "Dragons in Our Midst" by Bryan Davis.
Then "The Magickers" by Emily Drake. I've only ever met one other person who's even heard of the series.

The Illmoor Chronicles. Ridiculously tongue in cheek and absolutely hilarious. A bunch of incompetant morons against a dark god? Hilarity ensues. XD
Easily my most favourite bunch of books on my shelf. biggrin
Next fav would have to be The Sight and Fell.
Incidently, the author of Twilight (which I have yet to read but have heard a hell of a lot about) was actually inspired for one scene by the song Time is Running Out by Muse.... something to do with a War Room, or something...
Just thought I'd throw that out there for Twilight fans. (And shamelessly plug my favourite band. XD)
