The first thing one must consider when thinking of joining a wolven community is their spirit, as this is of course your main interest at this early stage. Most Wolfers like to think that they create a wolf as an extension of themselves, one that mirrors their personality and spirit, and so this is advised. There is no point in rushing in to make your wolf, it will after all be the character you are to be with for a very long time to come, especially after forming attatchments to others. The biggest problem many find in building up their character is it's physical elements, height and weight and so forth. This would depend upon the breed of wolf you select but most have the same rough attributes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AVERAGE LENGTHS ::. ~ Most females measure 4.5 to 6 feet from nose to tail tip. ~ Most males meaaure 5 to 6.5 feet from nose to tail tip.
AVERAGE HEIGHT ::. ~ Most wolves are found to measure anything between 26 and 32 inches as their average height at the shoulder.
AVERAGE WEIGHTS ::. ~ The average weight for a normal female would be anything from 60 to 80 pounds. ~ The average weight for a normal male would be anything from 70 to 110 pounds.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All of the above statistics and guidelines can be altered slightly when creating your wolf. The length, height and weight will also have to change throughout the course of your wolven life.
This is an accurate guidline of what will be needed for inclusion in your biography in order for one to be set for you. Please try and get all of the information required, it makes the job of the Alphas and all others involved in their construction so much easier. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
INTRODUCTION ::. For your introduction, Alphas will simply need to know the name/names of your wolf and when they were accepted into the pack officially.
STATS ::. For this section of your Bio, you are required to give the following information for your wolf: Full Name, Gender, Breed, Age, Eye Colour, Fur Colour, Court/Mate, Sire & Dam, Littermates, Spirit Siblings and Cubs. If the answer to some of these is "None" simply state so and it will be marked. Until this information can be verified or given, the reply "Pending" will follow the titles. You are to state "Deceased" wherever this may apply.
HISTORY ::. This has no limitation on words but be sensible, do not go into irrelevant details like what they have ever eaten for every day of their life. This should be their home story, telling of where they came from, their parents and previous packs if any. The history may be written from the viewpoint of your wolf spirit itself or as an onlooker.
DESCRIPTION ::. This section of your Bio is dedicated solely to an Appearance and personality description of your wolf. This is divided into two seperate headings. The first is "In Body". Here you will be asked for a detailed description of your wolf's physical appearance e.g coat colour, height and weight and any distinguishing markings such as scars etc. The other is "In Spirit". This is where a description of your wolf's personality will be shown including information such as whether or not they are young and naive or perhaps old and wise? It is up to you of course and every wolf is defferent, for they reflect their human counterparts.
PICTURES ::. You will need to select a picture for your wolf that is appropriate. For instance, do not choose an image of a black wolf if your wolf is white. We also refuse to accept colourful wolves, we DO NOT accept photographs of pink & blue wolves or any other colouring that is unrealistic. This is a realistic spirit wolfing community and we intend to keep it as such. Your first picture should have a good shot of the face preferably, a portrait if you will. You will also need to select another one in time that is larger and landscape if possible to be placed on your "Introduction" page.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are still unsure of what is required please feel free to use other biographies that are already on display for guidance to the working of things. Once all the information has been compiled, please either send it as a word document with the picture displayed, a word document and picture document seperately, or a notepad document and picture document seperately. You may even provide a link to yuor chosen photographs. All biographies are to be sent to one of the Alphas.

Courting and Mating:
Courtship and mateship are a common bond that wolves share. While in real life, usually packs tend to have only one mated pair whereas others may have a few. In roleplaying all wolves have the ability to court and/or mate another wolf. However, there are a few rules to keep in mind. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Courtship and Mateship, while are very joyous times, are not to be the sole goal of role playing. They are to be taken very seriously
• A wolf must be at least 1 year old to court another wolf
• A wolf must be at least 2 years old to be mated to another wolf
• A courtship and mateship are to be a bond between a male and female wolf. Keeping to realism, there will be no wolves who have bisexual or homosexual tendencies
• Permission must be granted for wolves to court and become mates
• Out of pack courting and mating is accepted, however permission from the other pack's Alpha must be granted
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The process for courtships and mateships are as follows. As a pair, the two wolves must come before the Alphas and request that they to court. During the time before the next meeting, the pair will be watched for compatibility. At a meeting determined by the Alphas, they will be joined together as courts during a ceremony. Following this ceremony they will be watched for a time determined by the alphas, usually lasting about 1 or 2 months. Then they will be joined together as mates during another ceremony at another meeting.
Spirit Bonds:
A request to become Siblings of the Spirit must be thought through very carefully as it is a bond to be as strond as that of dam and cub. Two wolves may confuse their feelings for each other at first, perhaps even courting or mating first, before they realise that the love they share is one of the Sacred Spirit. It is the Great Spirit that bestows us these bonds and gives us the guidance we need to recognise them. You may want to follow certain rules for this however, which can be provided for you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• To be a Spirit Sibling is a sacred, spiritual bond and is to be treated as such
• Choose wisely those you wish to become your Siblings of the Spirit for they are to stand by you till the bitter end
• Do not simply come looking for a sibling for your wolf. Rash and hasty decisions usually lead to bad choices
• You must ensure that your intended Brother or Sister also wish the same and that your feelings towards one another are mutual
• There is no limit to the amount of Spirit Siblings you may have
• Permission is granted over a time of observation by the Alphas of any packs involved. Time and dedication to the bond are needed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All wolves involved in a Spirit joining are to ask the Alpha's permission to create that bond officially. Out of pack joinings will work as with any other and Alphas from both packs must be asked and informed of all the goings on. This is a very rewarding extension of family and continues to bring more wolves closer than ever before.
.:: BREEDING ::.Breeding is one other very serious issue in the pack. This will be allowed on a tentative basis. The season for wolves breeding is during early to mid January. And the gestation period is about 2 months. Usually litters range in size from 1 to 6 pups while most common about 4. In real life, most packs only have the alphas mate, while there are exceptions to this. However, in roleplay, almost every wolf will be allowed to breed. However, the alphas and betas do reserve the right to deny cubs to any wolf, but this should never happen under usual circumstances. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Both wolves must be 2 years old or older, or will be two years old at the end of that breeding season, as cubs will be born two months after that period
• Both wolves must have the permission of the Alphas. If one of the wolves is from another pack, they must also have the permission of their pack's Alpha
• They must have at least 1 role player for a cub to ask to breed. The Alphas may ask who the RPer is and request to talk with them
• All cubs born must have a role player, bearing the "Multis" rule in mind
• If all role players drop out from wanting to play a cub, the parents will be allowed to keep 1 cub for 1 month. This cub will -not- be role played, however it will still exist. The parents will have the ability to keep looking for a role player for that month. If no role player is found, the cub will die.
.:: ADOPTIONS ::.Adoption, as with having a litter of your own, is an issue that is held highly important and serious. The bond between parent and cub should be nigh unbreakable when requesting an adoption. Both must understand that this is a very intimate bond, as is mateship and parenthood itself, and so should be carefully considered and thought through before a request is put forward. If it is an out of pack adoption, both Alphas from both packs must give their clear consent for the adoption to go ahead. If not, it cannot be done. An adoption can be made by either a couple or indeed, a single wolf of either sex. A waiting period of 2 to 3 months is to be expected whilst the Alphas observe the family-to-be before expressing their permission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Both cub and sire/dam must be willing to commit to the unbreakable bond of parent and cub
• Take time over the decision and ensure it is what you truly want. The bond is not easily broken
• Unconditional love and true bonds must be shown as proof of your commitment to one another
• All Alphas involved must have permission asked of them
