Upon watching countless episodes of various animes, I have come to the conclusion that girls don't do anything. I suppose thats why we love them though...

Who is your favorite Female Anime Character and Why?

The best female anime character would have to be Road Kamelot from D. Gray Man. I love her so much!
Road has got some certain charm to her, that she can make anyone love (or hate) her in an instant. The first impression you get of her is mostly a demanding girl, who isn't afraid to sit improperly with a skirt on.
Once you get to know her, she's actually very smart, and very very rebellious. She does whatever she wants to do, but (somehow) doesn't manage to ruin the Millennium Earl's script.
Road is also very strong, and I like that about a female character. She actually poses a threat to the main character, which most female anime characters NEVER DO. I really love the fact that she managed to capture the main character and his partner, basically torture and restrain them, steal Miranda's innocence and ruin their whole day, all because she wanted to.

So in all: Road Kamelot is a completely absolutely psychotically smart and rebellious, and she can get away with it all whenever she wants.

Which means she's an amazing female anime character,
who deserves to be on this list. ^.^

Oh, there are so many female anime characters I admire. One I'd have to say I really love is Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran High School Host Club. Not many people like her since she can look bland next to the other, more crazy characters in the show. I can't help but like her though, since she defies every stereotype of female characters in shoujo.

Haruhi doesn't understand romance at all and doesn't have any reaction to the guys' charms. She's completely oblivious to male attention and when asked out, doesn't realize that she's even being asked out. Though (debatably) perfectly straight; she sees no problem with pretending to be a guy.

She's awkward, clumsy, romantically challenged, and rather stupid at times: a nice change from the cutesy girly-girls that usually star in shoujo. And while she isn't as exciting and fun as the rest of the host club, she has her own unique personality.

Well, Naruto is the ONLY anime that i watch. And if you've watched it, you know that the only good female character is Temari.

She's awesome, unlike Sakura and Ino, who can't do anything on their own. Temari's a really good fighter, strong, independent (sometimes) and has a good personality. I also love the fact that she can put up with her evil maniac of a little brother (Gaara, not Kankurou) and still be awesome.

My favorite female character is Shana from Shakugan No Shana. At first in the series all she cares about is doing her job alone, she thinks that humans are annoying since they ask to many questions. But throughout the show she learns to love and changes for the better.
