I hate dances. I hate to dance. It's not fun for me. It's awkward. But because I don't like to dance, everyone starts bitching at me right before the damned event even takes place. What's so wrong about not wanting to deal with drunk people and crying girlfriends? Why can't people understand that I am not antisocial just because I want to stay home?
My AP Econ teacher is not qualified for his job. At all. I am barely passing a required course.
Global Warming sucks. It is so happening. Don't pretend it's not.
Why can't people get over themselves? Honestly, why are you wasting your breath talking about some girl's shirt when it doesn't affect you in any way. Why are you talking about someone behind their back, something you don't have the guts to say to their face? Why on earth do you give two shakes of a lamb's tail if some girl likes some guy? Honestly, the superficiality and materialism of society disgusts me. I like plants and animals better than humans most of the time.
Books are amazing things. Why don't more people like reading them? Oh, yeah. Because they don't have a projected image telling them what's going on as they flip pages. Their poor brain has to work all by itself to make it interesting. Imagination, people? Do we lack it suddenly?
I like art. I love to draw and paint. I love to read. I'm not offensive. So why is it that no boy (besides one that doesn't really count because he wanted to date me for the wrong reasons*) wants to talk to me of his own accord? Why has no one asked me out? Is it so much to ask to make me not feel lonely!? D: I've gone out of my way. I've talked. But nothing ever happens. Dammit.
*This will be directed to said boy: You love picking up the pieces, don't you? I swear, every girl you ever liked or went out with had some major family issue that just made you pity her. Well guess what: I'm not broken. You made me cry, yes, because you WERE an a**, and I know you wanted to make up for that, but come on! Dating me? How's that going to fix anything? It'd ruin our friendship, and you're too blind with whatever the heck you're feeling to see that.

Wow, that sucks! But if it makes you feel any better, I was never asked out until I was 19. Seriously. I dont know how old you are, but Im sure itll happen eventually. Most guys are just afraid of doing the wrong thing.
As for the rest: the superficiality of society bugs me too. When I go into a store and see ten times more magazines about pop stars and their lives than newspapers about real life, it pisses me off. And books are cool, but they take too long to read for most people. Sad, but true.

I had people talk behind my back. They were really mean. I found out and it hurt me a lot.
That I remembered I used to talk behind my friends' back a lot. It hurt me even more knowing how wrong I was.

I can really understand the fist part of your post, I've become high dissillusioned with society. I dont care for much of anything in American culture espeically popular media, that teaches superficial ideals.

Well I never need to rant see? My anger always builds up. Then one day i just let it all out. Not too much chaos though. It's like watching a 5 year old start a tantrum and usually lasts less then 5 seconds. lol
