Last year I finally started collecting what is one of the most underrated shows I have ever seen--Princess Tutu. The description itself sounds ridiculous--the story of a duck who becomes a girl, named Duck, who turns into the magical ballerina Princess Tutu. As Princess Tutu she recovers the broken shards of Prince Mytho's heart, a story book character who shattered his heart to seal away an evil raven and has now left the pages of the story. All of the battles take place in the form of a dance.
As silly as it sounds, this is truly one of the most amazing, well-written, heart warming shows I have ever seen. Duck is endearing, and the rest of the main cast really pull at the heartstrings. And the story itself, once you allow yourself to get into it, is really interesting.
Has anyone else watched this show? If you haven't watched it, is it because of any of the initial prejudices that I listed?
