Everyone's "Edward" will be different from everyone else's. So relax. Breathe.
So what if someone likes the actor who is playing Edward and you don't. So what if you feel like they did a bad job at find the "perfect" Edward for you.
Do you realize how hard it is for movie makers to find the "perfect" actor that everyone will like? Do you realize how hard it is to find an actor that can play the part?
Give him a chance. Don't look at the pictures of him from other movies that he has done. Look at the pictures of him for this movie. If you still don't like it then fine.

I had my doubts when I first heard.

But after seeing pictures and footage and interview I think he's going to be a good Edward. I know he's trying to be Edward as best as he can. And he looks more and more like Edward to me each day.

And that's how it is with Book-to-Movie. It's never going to be what you imagined.

i signed it!! i think ppl r being overly mean considering Edward's UNPORTRAYABLE!!!! (i mean cmon greek god?? perfection?? no human on earth is that!) they did a good job!! now, if his acting skills suk.... evil evil rofl rofl jk!!!

I like rob as Edward because he is a good actor and to tell you the truth he was one of those people who stood out to me to be Edward even before the casting was made

When I first read that he would be playing Edward for the movie, I was a bit leery about it. I thought he wouldn’t be good at the part, that he didn’t suit the part.

But now that I have seen some nice pictures of him from Twilight and seen interviews and the trailer, I think he will do a good job. You cannot be perfect when basing a movie off a book; of course you can’t get someone who looks exactly like a character is described in a book. But yeah I think he will do a great job as Edward.
