here's some of my free-hand work biggrin . It's not colored or anything it's pretty much just the bare stuff... stare .....because i was feeling lazy...... sweatdrop  It's Daisuke!!!!yay  I made up these guys...i drew it on a trip when i was bored......really bored...  This is one of my own characters from my story xd ....except she's older here...

I've been writing and drawing my own stuff too. ;O!
I'd like to make some books and sell them at a convention like those people at the stands.
But idk how they work.
And I wouldn't know where to go to get them printed or anything or how much it'd cost.
There aren't many hotspots for conventions where I'm from either.
So yeah, it blows. crying
But yeah, you should really go for it.
Get online publicity or something.
And then one day maybe some big shot will see your work and be like, 'Wow, she's really good' and hire you to do stuff for them.
Maybe. ;d

Yay, i know exactly how u feel...there is almost no conventions near me. The closes ones are quite a drive(so much gas gonk ) so i've never been to an actual convention before, but i've always wanted to wink
But yeah, i've never even taken an art course before....ever...so i'm pretty much self taught ( especially as far as anime goes). However, i'm soon going to take a course in college...i can't waite! xd

thanx 4 the criticism...i asked my best friend, my siblings and my mom for that and they would'nt tell me if the head looked wrong... confused they kept on telling me it looked perfect, i guess they didn't want to discourage me. But the truth about perfecting your artistic skills is criticism, Right? 3nodding

But the truth about perfecting your artistic skills is criticism, Right? 3nodding Lol I know what cha mean,but I also think that if ya really need some criticism I think it'd be the best to ask art student,or art teacher(Cause sometimes,most of ppl's opinion is as long as you drawing good,everything is good) This place is also a good place to see ppl's opinion,have ya put some of ya work on arenas???Ya can get more opinion over there too ^^ <---so far I put 3 of my artwork,but my drawing is only an average ne,some ppl can do really crazy drawing >"< <---gotta work hard on that too ahaha

LoL, yeah i know...i put one of my pics in the arena then i looked @ everyone elses T-T i must do better crying However, i must say it's kind of reassuring in a strange way to watch shows like Naruto, Tsubasa and Inuyasha where you can catch some disporportions..... surprised yeah,confidence! There's still hope!! XD

not bad,somehow the first one looks a bit like Sora+Rikku from KH ahaha maybe the hair just gave me that feeling
I think the second one's shoulder need to be a bit wider,but other than that,not bad ^^

omg...this is very good!!! I can't wait to see all of them colored!! xD
I can't say much for criticism...*thinks* Ah! The coloring. Although it's very good there's some areas that need a little more color and some that don't need as much--or that could be the style ^^;
You have to color very carefully because it will show up on the scanner (remembers past experiences) xD;
Nonetheless very good art.
