The day started out normal enough. You woke up and went to school. Dozed through the first couple hours.
But suddenly at lunch, your cell phone buzzes.
There’s a text waiting for you. It reads-
“We have your parents.”
You shut the phone, feeling slightly angry that someone would play such a ridiculous joke on you. The school day finishes. With the text still on your mind, you hurry home, just in case there’s the slightest chance that it wasn’t a joke. You find the house empty, and a slight chill runs through you as your cell phone once again buzzes. You pick it up slowly, and hear a man’s voice on the other end. “We need guinea pigs,” he says in an eerily calm voice. The line cuts off.
Story
Children from around the U.S. have been disappearing. Their ages generally range from 13 to 16, and they all have one thing in common; their parents are all top doctors. Mainly surgeons. Besides that, their parents always seem to vanish at the exact time as the children. But the government doesn’t know everything. Hidden deep beneath many aliases and plastic surgeries is a man named Alan Visher. This man used to be an amazing doctor, before it was found that he was conducting illegal experiments on multiple animal subjects. Things like bonding two different kinds of animals together to create new ones, or giving them special abilities. So he was jailed for animal cruelty. Unfortunately, he was able to get bail, and was out four years later. Ever since then, he had been hiding underground, continuing his research. Finally though, he believes that he is ready to take on a bigger challenge; humans. At first, he took just one single adult. Regrettably, his body completely rejected the unfamiliar DNA, and the man died shortly after. So after many trials, Dr. Visher found that only a teen’s still developing body could fully embrace any changes he wanted to make. So after that, he started targeting the children of doctors. After all, to make this work, he’d also need assistants, which were provided in the forms of the child’s parents. They’d work if they wanted their children to make it out of this alive.
So the children are captured, caged, and then endlessly experimented upon. They are all given some sort of supernatural ability, and merged with one type of animal’s DNA. This also includes them taking on many of that animal’s physical characteristics. To keep them from going out of control, Dr. Visher has taken very special care in the security of his secret lab. Each child is given just enough food to stay alive, and constantly drugged. There are cameras everywhere, and every child is given their own specially made cell. There is no escape. After a while, it is expected that the animal side of them will start to take control of their actions. At this point, they will be released on a deserted island and observed for future reference.
Setting
As of right now, you are in your cell. The experiments so far have mostly just changed your physical appearance, giving you certain attributes of your animal. DNA infusion has begun, but the process isn’t complete. It will still be another good couple weeks before the animal side of you begins to take over your mind. Your supernatural powers are also being slowly developed, and you may have a bit of a handle on them. Your cell is mostly just a small box. There is enough room to stand up and lay down. There is a mat on the floor for sleeping, and straw in one corner serves as a bathroom. For the most part, you are treated as though you are already an animal. The cells are close enough to one another that it is possible to talk to those around you, though right now you are so weak from exhaustion, hunger, and pain that talking may prove to be a challenge anyways. The sedatives that you are on may have by now begun to be less effective, as your new improved body might have started to build an immunity. But since they just continue to raise the doses, it doesn’t really matter too much. Every day, you are taken to the back room and given several non-too pleasant injections, as well as tests of your emerging abilities. If you seem too awake or alert when in your cell, there is an emergency system of knockout gas ready to come pouring in through the vents.
To Make Some Stuff Clear
-When the animal side starts to take control, this does not mean that the person will completely disappear. Your personality will still be there, but the animal’s instincts and such will start to show more prominently. There may even be times when you blank out completely, but only every so often, when your emotions get to a certain high point, or something happens to trigger the animal half of you.
-Depending on what you want to do, there will be different extremities of how you look. You can do a full-blown anthro, or just have a few features from the animal. Dr. Visher would have created many different types, so choose whatever you like.
-Dr. Visher’s spot is open for anyone who would like to play him. Pm me to ask about it.
-The parents around the lab are also mostly NPC’s, but not quite as much. To do something big with them, please Pm me first.
