This is for all you people out there who want help. Help with a sore throat, what songs you should use, what to do if you're nervous, etc. This thread doesn't mean that you can't make help threads for yourself, but I just though it would be a cool way to get help and give help. Here you know someone will help you. So, post away! blaugh

I can't stick to a weight-loss program. I'm not really fat, but I really want to get even thinner. It's just that I can't seem to stick to any plan I make. Can someone help me figure out how to lose even more weight, so I'll be as thin as a soap opera star?

well, I have difficulties with that type of stuff too, but I find doing Dance Dance Revolution is a fun workout, and also if you do something that FORCES you to work out (i.e. signing up for a dance class or somethign that you can't really back out of and HAVE to go to) is best if you can't get motivated. Also, Yoga and Pilates help to tone and arn't that hard!

DDR is great! (I play it all the time), but I found that if you take a dance class or sport, it helps you lose weight while having fun. Also, try not to have too many sweets around the house to tempt you. DON'T TRY THE CARBS DIET!! It's bad for you.

I tend to stick to the "everything in moderation" creed. Knocking sweets altogether out of my diet would make me miserable- and I'd probably wind up killing someone around the time of PMS.
Just eat right and exercise, and don't fall to the corrupted way of Atkins.

Well I'm a vegetarian so I don't do atkins diets at all. I am signing up for a dance class. We actually don't have that many sweets around the house; it's more a problem for when I go out, and get a soda, or a milkshake, because i want one. I can't stop the wantings. And anorexia didn't work either, or belimia. So now I'm just trying to stay in top shape. But I like the suggestions. thanks!

Dark Sweetie Well I'm a vegetarian so I don't do atkins diets at all. I am signing up for a dance class. And anorexia didn't work either, or belimia. So now I'm just trying to stay in top shape. But I like the suggestions. thanks! I stay in shape by dancing its part of my acting diploma I'm taking. But I eat lots of pasta and meat (Quorn is good for vegatarians) to keep up my energy too. If you snack on sugar and sweet things you burn up the energy too quickly and need to eat again. When I'm not on a course or working it's harder to get motivated, so when I'm upset cos I didn't get an audition or speaking role I take out my frustration on myself, I run till I'm physically exausted or hit the gym and work out. I've found that stopping or lowering what I eat affects my acting skills because I dont have the energy to put into it, but eating meat and pasta means I fill up on something that gives me energy. Avoid macdonalds they were put here to destroy us! even the chips have sugar on!

I've been let down on a regular basis, but after you ahve been rejected and still work hard for the show, the director will see how great you are and make sure to make you more involved next time. Because chances are, not all of the people who got to do the things you wanted to will always be there and reliable.

You might want to run around the block before you start though, that helps. Not only does the carb diet not good for you, but no diet is good for you. You should eat six small meals a day, just check out the food pyramid.

Dreambubbleburst Avoid macdonalds they were put here to destroy us! even the chips have sugar on! lol, You might want to avoid more than just Mcdonalds. I work in fast food and after eating it durring break for a month I began gaining weight, no good. Luckily I only did it for a month and now I'm back to normal.. I think.

Running is good cardio vascular activity and it'll tone your body as well. Avoiding stress is also a good way to stay in shape, since we all know stress leads on to unhealthy behavior. Or just doing maybe fifty push ups and sit ups a day can help. I do that now and my upper body has a good tone to it, I'm about to up to to 75 a night.
