Another thing we can think about is what do we want to do with this guild. What should be our niche? Do we want to comfort others, teach them, play with them,....? Then we can focus on that. So maybe we should list things that we are good at maintaining.
I'm good at playing(I know about some good forum games). I also have be decent at helping others with their problems. You guys might even think that I'm better at other things, but this is what I've learned about myself so far.
What are you all good at?

I also like a prayer request section, but those threads can probably go in the main forum for now.

I believe CF's target audience is seekers.
And, seekers generally don't want the meat and potatoes of a strong Bible study, or even prayer requests.
So, those should be kept in subforums.
However a games forum is also good, because it is a way to relax and perhaps get to know other members.
Remember, CF, if gold is an issue, don't fret...I can contribute. You need not be out of pocket for 1-2 subforums.

In that case, yeah games forum is good. Also, we need something for new believers. Something to help them if they are seeking God for the first time, or continually.

Seeker of Truth started out as a puzzle room, actually. It was when I was still finding myself as a Christian. Seekers was started because before I was sure what I was getting into, and I made sure to seek the truth. That name stuck because of that. That was my battle ground, and it continues to be so. biggrin

Thats awesome, yours will be a powerful testimony to others. I think that concentrating on seekers is a great way to reach out to Gaians. So, where do we want to start?

... Truth is, I don't much care for digging up the bones of the past. I like to focus on what's happening now.
... I'm not sure what we can do with this new forum, I think it's just a blessing at least a few people have gathered here and are conversing. As I might have pointed out to you, I would like to keep this guild comfy and welcoming. (I've always thought huge guilds were intimidating and hard to manage). I was actually thinking about maybe an RP outside of the coffee house. I would like individual ideas about this though, what kind of RP and how can we use this to bring new people here with it?

not to be disrespectful to anyone in bible times but perhaps we could role play main people in the bible starting from the old testament (sp) and work our way to the new kinda maybe get a personal feel wat it was like in there times and how different it is today i mean its just a thought
