Long, long time ago, Tengel the Evil walked out to the dessert to sell Satan his sole.
He was the ancestor of the Icefolk
He was promised magical and mystical abilities whose actions resulted in at least one cursed individual being born in every generation.
They were supposed to be recognized by yellow eyes and magical and mystical abilities.
One day the person would be born that had more magical and mystical abilities than any other did or anyone had ever seen on this earth.
This curse was supposed to lie on the family until people could find the cauldron some Tengel had brewed the spawn some he had used to bewitched Satan.
That is only what the Tale of the Icefolk says
