Hello again all! Another great band we can talk about is Savatage! I don't know a great deal about them myself unfortuantely, but I'm getting a bunch of stuff tomorrow that will enlighten me. (brain implants). ^_^ Anyways, I would love for people to talk about them here... if you know who they are... I also liked the bands cover of Electric Eye that they did with Helloween. O.O But you don't know what I'm talking about xD

Savatage is AWESOME blaugh
i knwo some stuff about them if you dont
they are a rock orchestra band
they originated in Lakeland Florida{my home town!}
previously called Trans-Siberian Orchestra and thats what they are now called today
thats all i can think of right now sweatdrop .....but if i figure out more i'll post

Woah! I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra! I was gonna write a thread about them next and how Wizards In Winter can go with so many circumstances!!! Hahaha, I think I'll still write a thread though, but yeah, I didn't know it was the same band! Cool. Probably should have noticed but I've been out of it lately. -_-,,

anyone here heard of a band called Savage Circus? heres a link to one of their songs....though finding one on the net is pretty rare Savage Circus's Evil Eyes

I love TSO, and I remember hearing that they had an off-shoot band. I didn't know it was called Savatage and I haven't heard anything by them. I'm definently going to look them up.

Have you heard Jon Oliva's spin-off band? "Jon Oliva's Pain" it's called they do some Savatage covers. And have two albums and one EP out with their own songs. They're very good.
And Zachary Stephens' side-project "Circle II Circle".
And the "Trans-Siberian Orchestra" are another side-project. If it hasn't been mentioned already.

Savatage is pretty good, not my favorite, but good nonetheless.
Personally, I'm more of a symphonic-metal person.
