A destroyed police HQ in the town of Denver, Colorado. The first city to be destroyed as a sign of the Legion's powers. There are no working facities in the building. A small gathering of heroes have assembled here to talk terms with each other. Will there be a new team? Who shall assume the role of leader? Which hero do they save first? And who shall watch over the Legion's actions?

A dark cloud of smoke appeared in front of the league HQ. nobody was there...Raven had just heard that the league had dissapeared, (or was kidnapped...) and came to see if this was true. Quite obviously, it was. She sensed no life forms, and even she knew that they always had someone there to stand guard...of course this meant that Wally was gone...He was whom she was most concerned for, knowing him most. Of course, he could probably fend for himself, but...she felt trouble...the league was in trouble...

Zatanna's footsteps reverbrated through the hallways as she inspected the ruined Hall. Although the moniter womb had been totaled, the main theater had taken only minor damage. Mostly.
"Wow, what a dump." Zatanna said, taking it all in.
"Moor naelc", she waved a hand over the room as the central table and chairs righted themselves while the rubble returned to the walls and ceiling.
"Much better." Zatanna pulled Batman's chair out and took a seat to wait for the others to arrive.

Raven went to the center table of the hall after hearing the footsteps. Here she saw Zatanna, the woman who had refused to aid her in her quest to rescue the earth from Trigon...making the Justice League beleive she was evil.
"Oh, Azar please...anyone but...her..." She muttered under her breath.
"Hello...Zatanna..."

Zatanna jumped in her seat, Raven was almost Batman good when it came to quiet entrances. She turned in her seat to meet the other womans eyes.
A sudden awkward silence fell over the large room as Zatanna tried to find the right words, she was sorry for past actions, but the past was in the past, right? She just wish she could believe her own words!
"Um, hi. So you got the emergency call too?" Zatanna gestured to the chair next to hers, the one with the flash symbol on it.

"Glad to see a few could make it." crept a voice from virtually nowhere. Until a small gyroscope started to englarge with a man's body inside, growing in size, until it was full again. This was Ray Palmer, The Atom. An expert in sciences.
"This as you may or may not know, was a temporary old league HQ before it was destroyed by Despero a couple of years ago. It was disguised as a police building and easy acess for Martian Manhunter to watch this city and keep tabs with the league." continued Atom as he took up the nearest seat, which happened to be Green Lantern's.
"As I'm sure you got the call through your comlink Zatanna, I sent out a message for the league to meet here. It's run down, but it's safe.I'm actually surprised to see you here Raven... but any help we can get will do. Green Arrow and Black Canary are on their way here as we speak. Since the founding members are all MIA, Green Arrow will assume command as leader of who remains in the team... we're calling it New Justice. Captain Marvel and Star man are searching for survivors of the satelite attack and a few others are making their way towards this hideout as well. Any other questions?" asked Ray as he tried to focus on staying calm.

Raven sat down in the chair. The flash symbol triggered memories from long ago, with her friends...fighting Trigon, Deathstroke, other villains. She flashed Zatanna a calm smile. forgive and forget, right?
"Sorry, i'm quite talented at spooking people...i've always been, unfourtunately. I overheard the league was in trouble...so I came here...most of the other titans are busy, i'm sure. Ray, who shall we aid first? Diana, Wally, Kal-el...?"

"Well... that's the problem. We can't find them. Lex has somehow shielded their minds so not even Doctor Fate can follow their tracks. Luckily The Question was investigating something on earth when the satelite blew up. I've sent for his expertise to meet here as well. He should be able to gather some kind of lead. Although we might have a clue as to where Diana might be. Green Arrow told me he recognized in that short broadcast that Luthor put out... a building. It was part of Star City. We don't know if anyone is being contained there, but it is something. We're going to send out a team of stealth to snoop around. With Arrow's knowledge of the city, he might be lucky enough to beat it out a snoop." said the Atom as he shifted in his chair staring at the damaged table which he rested his hands upon.

Zatanna smirked. Well, that was a lot of information in a single breath, but then, this was Ray, he'd always been a little long winded...
"Wait, you're putting Ollie in charge?" she said, sitting up a little straighter. Zatanna couldnt imagine Green Arrow in charge of a gold fish let alone the league. But then, beggars cant be choosers.

"Hmm, so all we know is that Diana is in Star City? Perhaps when, or if, we find her she might know where the others are..."
Perhaps, she thought, if she was lucky she might get a premonition of where they are...it was a limited ability of hers, but there may be hope. She looked around the room for anything that might have been specially attatched to the leaugers...The flash chair didn't do anything for her, but she could still try...even if Dr. Fate couldn't follow them...
"Ray, this must be quite rough for you, these people are some of your closest friends...I only know Wally well, and...I loved all of the titans, even him, after I...even after I manipulated him...I don't have much emotional attatchment to the others...but I can tell you do..."

"Yeah, these are dark times. I'm trying to keep a cool head though. I seen so many staff and even a couple of leaguers die on the satalite. I luckily shrank to the the size of an ant and snuck into Stripe's mecha for air. I'm still not sure if he's ok. I left him in the care a hospita. But anyways...lWe don't know who's in Star City. As I said it's all a mystery." choked Ray as he felt the pain from the blast starting to set in.
He looked to Zatanna and proceeded to answer her questions.
"I have chosen Ollie as leader becuase he happens to know Star City. And his tactics for battle will have to substitute for Batman's. Out of those who are in contact at this time... he's the most qualified. I will be staying back for a few missions unless need be. I have to rest and at least set up some kind of quarters to live in. I'll be trying to set up a few monitors to track what is going on." he coughed hoarsely again before looking at Raven.
"I'm sorry Raven, even though your skills are handy, for the time being I'm going to need some kind of power to help out around here until we gain a couple of more defenders. You were a unpredicted factor in this battle, and I can't let you out quite y-" Ray interrupted himself with s couple of loud booms from his throat, and then massaged it.
"Excuse me... it seems I may need a drink of water. That's another task I should get on. Supplying this place with nessecties. I'll go and see I can bust open a water fountain. Jeez... I need to quit talking... it's hurting my throat."
Ray excused himself from the room and wondered down the halls to see an abandoned fountain. He kicked a hole in it, and out came what appeared to be unsafe water. The appearance was gruesome... Ray sighed and rested his against the wall. He then rested a couplr of seconds before driving his fist through the wall in anger.

Raven could tell Ray was in pain...she never like to see people hurt, so she had to go help.
"Please excuse me, Zatanna..." She said, and teleported away.
She arrived by Ray,surrounded by the dark smoke that slowly faded.
"Ray, I can tell you are in pain, and I can help...it hurts me to see others like this, and I can't make you completely better, but I can do my best. I understand why you don't want me out in the field, but I can stay here, and use my healing powers to their fullest. It would be usefull to hone my skills in this new body, anyways..."
She paused...
"May I heal you?"

Zatanna followed Raven and found Ray beating up the wall. She was a little suprised about the change in Raven, she really hadnt seen the other woman in a while, though she could remember her cousin Zachary mention the sorceress back in the summer but now.
Zatanna skirted around the duo to check out the trickle of water next to Ray's hole.
"Dirty," she whispered, wetting her lips. She left Raven to get Ray back to health and set to cleaning up their new headquarters.
I hope somebody else shows up soon she thought.

"No, save your powers for the rest. Besides, I have things to do with very little time. I'm going to try and contact Plastic Man again. I last seen him helping others from the wreckage and the innocents around us that felt the damage from our debris as well. Excuse me... I must try to contact Dr. Fate." said Ray briskly.
He left the two's company and headed outside to catch a glimpse of the town. Thankfully, nothing had been damged after being rebuilt from The Justice League's last encounter with Despero. He decided he would gather some supplies from the grocery store first. Bring them back to the base and then concentrate on contacting the others through Dr. Fate.

Raven watched Ray walk away. she thought for a minute and then decided to got to see Zatanna.
The black clouds of smoke appeared in front of Zatanna.
"Hello Zatanna, I hope I didn't shock you..."
She looked around the half-destroyed headquarters.
"I think...we kind of got off to a bad start..." She said, looking down at a puddle of stagnant water..
