**Guidelines**
"Newby" is an affectionate term, unlike Noob or Noobie!
*Newby" is best described by a new/ shy/ wants to learn member of our Guild or Gaia- who agrees to be adopted by another member of the guild. They must join the guild to be considered in the program.
Adoption Terms Offered are
1 week
2 weeks
4 weeks
(additional time may be arranged between Newby's and their families)
Adoptive Parents Provide:
1 Week Option:
Uniform
Toy
Aid in posting
Aid with friends list
Aid with PM
Aid with Towns
Aid with Rally
Aid with Marketplace
$500 Gaia gold
*This will be followed up with a graduation and diploma!
2 Week Option
Uniform
Toy
(All Aid provided in week 1)
Aid with Trade
Aid with Profile
Aid with Games
$750 Gaia Gold
This will be followed up with graduation and diploma!
4 Week Option
2 Uniforms
2 Toys
(All above Aid provided)
No one should now recognize this person as a Newby!
Aid with House
Aid with Car
$1000 Gaia Gold
This will be followed up with graduation and diploma!
There is no limit to how many Newbys you adopt, but you are responsible to see to their care.
Graduation services include a dedicated post and certificate!
Adoptees Agree:
To wear the uniform
Follow requests (within reason)
Do their best!

Make their adoptive parent look good!

What an interesting proposition.
I would love to support a newby on their journey to becoming
an established Gaia Member.
And also-what shall we do if two 'parents' want to adopt the same 'child'?
...and please don't say "The Wedding Thread is right beside this one."

I could be wrong, but my assumption would be that the one getting adopted would get to choose? Unless this will end up being a random "lottery" style where the Judge decides and the adoptee has no say. Of course, the adopters would have pick at least (in my mind, of course, things are somewhat messed up in there!)
