Because this guild is going to get a jump boost.
We've been categorizing our things into subforums, but that makes them out of sight. That needs to change.
So I, former creator a couple years ago of the guild under a new account, suggest that we have a contest for livening up the main forum here.
How?
I'll trade you 50 gold for every thread you start in the main forum with a topic topic (not just "hi" not just "how are you" but have a question related to the arts, it can be about writing, about painting, it can be about any of the arts. Include a poll related to the question.
In other words we're promoting the guild's main forum as a General forum, and anything over a week old we can move into subcategories.
This will continue until it's established itself as an active guild again, if I go broke in the process I'll owe people for their posts until we decide that it's made its mark. But that should be a good 300 posts away.
If anyone sees this spread the word and maybe put a link to our guild in your signature with a note about the contest/promotion.

In order to help revive the guild, I'll add in 50 gold to your 50, making it 100 gold per new thread. I've enough for a LOT of new threads, so... POST AWAY.
Maybe the guild should create a recruiting thread in Gaia's Guild Network Forum... or in the Captain's Guild as well, if they allow it. (I never go in the Captain's Guild, my own guild is dead)

Yeah, I'm afraid a forum full of very old posts is worse than a forum with no posts, so maybe when they get over a week old we'll still move them into the subforums to avoid scaring people with a ghosttown forum.
