I mean other than like metal and power metal.
Personally, I listen to 80s hard rock. (I.e Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Dio, Motley Crue, David Lee Roth, Extreme, etc)
I also listen to some rock/jazz fusion, but only the good players. (I.e Allan Holdsworth, Greg Howe, etc)

Classical, Jazz, Fusion, Funk, D&B, Alt Rock, Prog. Rock, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, NWOBHM, Glam Rock, Jazz, some Rap, some R&B, some Country, Folk.
Actually, one of my other favorite bands is System of a Down, which most people say is Alt Rock/Alt Metal.
