For the past few weeks, it seems we haven't been able to get everyone who signs up at the board on time for the weekly game. sweatdrop
I'm wondering if we need to reschedule the weekly game day and time, or have a system where we send out some reminders to those who sign up so they don't forget the game.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Well the poll showed that Friday afternoon IS most convenient but also just the weekends in general. Soooo.... O.o Maybe getting more games? that's just an idea.
Perhaps if we did get a team of people (crew? volunteers?) to go around and PM those who said that they did want to play, and remind them.
Perhaps just have it recommended to keep your place you must come in like a day or two before the game to confirm your spot or we might fill it up?
Just a few ideas.

What do you mean, "remove"? Ban them from the guild? Don't you think that's rather harsh?

We can't just REMOVE them. sweatdrop I'm not talking about people who join the guild and don't participate in games often, I'm talking about the people that sign up to play two or three days before we play and then don't show. sweatdrop
I mean, some of them have good reasons and some of them forget. I'm just trying to figure out a way to make it work, not punish anyone. xD

It was the traffic! I swear!
Perhaps we SHOULD do pms to remind people to show up.
I don't think that we should remove them from the guild for not showing up. That's a little harsh.

I can give people reminder PMs about upcoming games. ^^
I've tried to do that before, like, right before the game, but a lot of people aren't on. So maybe we can remind some people through IM or email? And/ or remind them a few days a head of time, then a day ahead, and then an hour before the game.
Maybe we should make a guild account, that people can add to their friendslist if they'd like to be reminded of upcoming games and events and stuff?

It'll be much more easier for me if it wasn't on fridays, I'm so busy on those nights I can barely make it. (last week was a fiasco!)
I think sending e-mails is a good idea.
But removing someone from the guild because he couldn't make it is too harsh.

I think Res's idea sounds good too. whee I'll make a guild account then? smile
Then maybe we should increase the number of games to two every week. We could keep the Friday game, then find out what day works best for people who can't do Fridays? :O

I'm good with the ideas that were brought up. There might be problems where the user isn't logged in, pms are set to 'friends only', or users don't have IMs. ^_^;
Does anyone remember what was the second highest result in the previous poll for gaming schedule? Maybe it would be best to make another poll instead.
